Knock Down Post Scratch with Hanging Fruit Cat Tower - 19.57" - Boots & Barkley™

Do not buy this. I put the pole together and discovered that not only does the fabric or scratch rope NOT cover the pole entirely, leaving a lot of card board exposed but there are also STAPLES exposed in MULTIPLE PLACES!! Including the top of the scratching rope part where cats WILL SCRATCH AT!! This is a disaster just waiting to happen! Extremely disappointed in Boots & Barkley right now, this is completely unsafe for animals! Didn’t even finish putting it together as there was no point in doing so. I will be returning this immediately

It has been knocked over several times when a larger cat jumped on or off of it. Kittens below were fortunately not injured but I think that the falling edge of the top could have caused a serious injury if one was hit. It would be good if the base were either larger, heavier or if you could fasten it to your floor. Oh, and the hanging fruits don't survive too long as the strings break or get chewed through.

My kitty loves this. She loves the elastic on the toy strings so she can tug on them and play and they spring back, and she loves jumping on and perching on the top, and, well, knocking it over, as the name suggests. I dont know how other reviewers missed the title of the item, and expected it to be the kind of perch that’s meant to stay still. The sisal holds up well too, to heavy use. Please never discontinue this.

Adorable and functional but could be sturdier. When my cats, even the tiniest of the bunch, jump and sit on the top platform the whole thing wobbles. The scratching post being in the middle instead of the top makes it difficult for the cats to scratch while standing, however my babies have managed to adapt and scratch while lying on the floor 😂

Not safe. My kitten is only 4lbs and when he plays with the top of this it tips over on top of him.

The cat stand itself it adorable in concept! But it does lack in quality and also a bit concerning. Got it for my sweet girl who loved scratching it but I started to notice the upper half (made of fabric; i don’t know why) was starting to expose thread which if swallowed could be extremely dangerous!….

I really like it! Affordable, my cat loves the dangling fruit, decent size, the vertical post is good for my cat, love the textures and colors. My cat didn’t touch the small cardboard scratcher I’d gotten previously but she immediately started scratching on this post as soon as I got it set up (and playing with the fruit!). She loves it more than any piece of furniture. She also loves getting on top of it and I’ll place it near a window for her. Only issue is that it’s started to fall apart. Some of the dangling fruit came off within a month or so of buying and the soft padding on the vertical center is shredded on some parts a couple months after purchasing. This was honestly a “quick fix” purchase for affordability and my cat loves it. I will probably invest in a more expensive scratching post at some point if it claims to last longer before falling apart.

Broke after just a few days of having it. Seemed really good but is obviously cheaper made because it broke in half.

Very cute but there are exposed staples and the particle board underneath is exposed. Quality could be better.

Perfect for crazy, active cats! My older cat could care less but my younger cat scratches on it, jumps on top, plays with the toys and knocks it over. I wish it wouldn't knock over SO easily (that usually scares everyone in the room) but it doesn't deter the cat from going back to it after I've picked it up. Good purchase!

Easy to set up! Year old cat loves the toys and having something her size for a supportive stretch.

I thought my cat would like this but she has other ideas. Nevertheless, it was easy to put together and seems to be very stable. If my cat doesn’t take to it, I can always use it as an amusing and colorful side table I guess.

My cat is super picky with toys, but she loves this!! Yes it’s a little wobbly, but she can jump on it just fine. 10/10 recommend!

My cats loved it & we’re very excited to play and scratch, but the tree is very unstable. Almost immediately, when one of my cats was getting comfortable jumping on the top level, they tipped it over twice. I don’t think the bottom base is anywhere near heavy enough to keep it grounded & stable.
