Dont buy

Tried to replace batteries the section you have to unscrew to get to the batteries got stuck, like the threads were not correct and now unable to replace batteries/ use laser pointer. Absolutely terrible design/ waste of money.

Not practical or easy to maintain

It was almost dead out of the packaging, so I had to buy a new batteries. They are a tiny battery which is poorly described in the specifications. I took a picture for those of you who would like a technical size for replacement batteries - LP44. It takes three! Also, removing the battery from the toy are somewhat tedious - requires a flathead screwdriver. A USB rechargeable battery would’ve been much more practical.

VERY dim and small light doesn't work.

I am so disappointed in Kong, usually a decent brand. This light is a joke. it is a tiny very faint dot, that unless you hold it close to the ground it cannot be seen AT ALL. My cats couldn't see it.

Faint and weak

I ordered this for pickup and immediately out of the packaging, the laser was tiny and faint. My cat was so excited to play with it but could barely see the dot :(
