Surprisingly enough, the BBQ flavor was not bad and a huge hit with my kids. The BBQ isn't super strong but faint enough that the taste lingers for a couple of seconds after.

The only reason why I wasn't a fan of this is due to the fact that all the other flavors just took away from being Kraft mac and cheese. I honestly didn't really taste any cheese flavor as it was masked by overpowering smokey barbecue like I was at a rib fest type taste. Lol. Also I wasn't a fan of how spicy it was also taking away from the kraft mac and cheese aspect. So this probably wouldn't be a huge kid favorite but I'm just guessing. I think it would be better maybe in a casserole or something. Now, my boyfriend will only eat kraft brand mac and cheese so I did not think he would dig this but he totally did. So either way this was a win for me!

The color was slightly more orange and you could see some of the seasonings in the mix. At first the taste wasn’t too different, but then the flavor showed up. There was a hint of spice, but not too much. The spice kind of hung out in your throat. It was good. Of the 4 people in the family, 2 really liked it and would eat it again and 2 liked it but preferred the original. It was easy to make. It was no different than making regular boxed Mac n cheese

The cooking instructions are very clear and the packaging is nice. It is very eye catching. The BBQ flavor is definitely bold but it tasted too artificial for me. The texture is the same as the normal macaroni. The price is reasonable as well. All in all, I just want a fan.
