This used to be good in 2023 but maybe they had a reformulation. All my curls fell out within 5 minutes of setting my hair. Would not recommend. Only redeeming quality is the scent.

This would be great for spraying your curls etc. to maintain them longer. Not great for bangs, it’s more of a soft medium hold and doesn’t really “hold” like I wanted. But if you’re OK with soft hold, this stuff is brushable and awesome for that!

DO NOT BUY!!! I’ve been a user of Kristen Ess for at least 5 months and noticed my hair thinning more and more. Just recently I started reading reviews of people who have had significant hair loss and thinning from using this brand.

This is quite literally the worst hairspray I’ve ever used. The only redeeming quality is the smell. I would even go so far as to say that I have MORE HOLD with zero hairspray in my hair than I do when using this product. It is like spraying scented water on my hair. All of my curls fell flat as if I’d never even used a curling iron. It looks exactly the same as it did before I curled it. Absolute waste of money. I’m actually returning it to Target and I have never once returned a beauty product. I love the working texture spray from the same line & so I’m very surprised this product is THAT horrible.

The hairspray itself is amazing, I’d consider it almost a dupe of Aveda’s Air Control. But oh my god the nozzle is impossible to press. You either have to press it with the strength of 1,000 rhinos, or you have to hold it at an awkward angle where it feels like you’re about to spray it completely downward from where the product actually comes out. I’ve sprayed my ear more times than I care to admit. If they fixed the stupid design of the nozzle I’d pay twice as much for this.

This product smells nice and seems to work well. However, I cannot get enough pressure on the nozzle with my pointer finger. It’s very hard to press the nozzle and I’m not in the mood to fight with hair products in the morning, so I’m going to return this product.

I really like this spray! It doesn’t make my hair feel crunchy at all no matter how much I use. It doesn’t have a strong scent at all and lasts a really long time. I appreciate the minimalistic package. It makes it look sleek. Would repurchase

Dysfunctional nozzle! I’ve loved this brand recently but am disappointed in this hairspray. Nozzle takes so much pressure to press down I can’t even get any product out!!

I ended up buying this because my usual hairspray was out of stock and now it’s my new favorite. It holds my hair well without making it crunchy at all. I can run my finger completely through my hair with no issue and my waves remain all day. Love it!

OMG. I should have listened to the reviews where people said the spray nozzle was hard to press down. I can't do it. You better have some strong fingers if you want to use this product.

This stuff does the job! Fabulous texture spray/ heat protection- even when I don’t have a curl in my hair and just want a little extra something this does the job!

Nozzle stops working after just a few weeks of usage

The spray top requires extreme pressure to get any product out. Not sure if this can is broken or just the way it was designed. The mist is very light hold. Not the hold I was looking for.

This hair spray is very weak, it did not hold my curls and only lasts an hour at most. I will not be purchasing it again.

I’ve been looking for something to use with hot tools when my hair is dry and this was it! It works perfect and is versatile on how you can use it

LOVE! It smells so good, and I now have the whole line of products. If you like to smell like you just walked out of the salon, I highly recommend. It also doesn’t make my hair feel crunchy like other hair sprays.
