I really like this product. However, I have purchased several cans and they all leak. The leaks stain any clothes they land on. Please work on the spray mechanism so that it does not leak. It is hard to see where the leak comes from. I just see the spots after I have sprayed on the product.

It's meant to temporarily cover roots people, not dye your hair. It does that, allows me to go a bit longer between dyes. It appears other people are using it as hair dye. Just use a little on the parts to hide the growing grey.

I bought the light-to medium blonde. I am certainly not platinum. But it came out almost white. And I found it unhelpful with coverage. The texture was tacky. I had considered re-washing my hair. My hair color is a golden blonde with highlights. I have naturally ash/dark blonde hair. I am more likely to try a powdered version next. This is likely more helpful for brunettes.

Product transfers and stains everything! Irritates your scalp. The spray nozzle doesn’t spray out evenly and drips product all over your clothes. Waste of money!

I use the red, which is a little darker than my exact shade of red, but works fine at covering my gray roots! I only need it at week 3 - 6 after my hairdresser does it. And since I usually wash it only once a week, it lasts quite a while.

Bought because of L’Oreal name. It does stay on- I washed my hair twice and some was still in hair. It does do the job it says it does- cover the gray roots. The medium brown was darker than expected. Will be returning as darker than expected and my hair stylist said for me not to use.

I had used this spray occasionally for the last 2 years, but started using it more frequently during the holidays last year. I have always had very thick, full hair where you could barely even see my part. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I suddenly had several very thin areas and could see my scalp through my bangs, and my part was looking very thin as well. I chalked it up to stress and started using the spray even more to cover up the newly thin areas. My scalp itched intensely on a few occasions. Fast forward to February and my hair looks horrible. Brittle top layers, super obvious bald spots exactly where I used the spray the most, and my bangs are incredibly thin. I stopped using the root cover up a week ago. I’m hoping the hair loss is not permanent but I am taking pictures to document it all just in case. This product needs to be labeled with hair loss warnings! I also believe it should state that heat styling should not be used after application.

I bought this for my 91 year old grandmother who always wanted to have red hair just like her cousins did when they were kids. She has had naturally white as fresh snow hair for at least 50 years so she had a perfect base to make her have any hair color in the world. I thought it would be a fun way to let her be a red head for the day since it “only lasts until the next shampoo.” Well it’s been almost a week and more than a dozen shampoos later and she’s only faded to a strawberry blonde. It works, but maybe a little bit too well. At least it faded with natural looking colors so she doesn’t look crazy. It definitely was not transfer proof but thankfully her sheets are white and bleachable. Even 5 days later it is still lightly transferring onto her pillow with dry hair. It came out of the sheets and anything else it rubbed off on with just some oxy clean in the washer without any pretreatment of the fabric so at least it comes out of fabric better than hair.

I didn’t like the texture this left in my hair. It felt sticky and rough. Even after washing my hair and scrubbing my scalp good, the stickiness didn’t wash away. Yuck. The light browns were too dark and the blonde looked greyish on me.
