I've heard nothing but complimentary things about this product. I decided to give it a try and couldn't wait to use it. I read the directions carefully and followed the instructions has directed. I noticed that upon application to my wet hair, the product became noticiably warm. I rinsed within 8 seconds as the product stated. Please note that it suggests using a conditioner after rinsing the product out, which I did. I honestly didn't notice any difference in the shine or feel of my hair. I've used it a total of 5 times this far and do not feel as though it has made any impact on my hair. The rave reviews cannot be wrong. This must be user error or my hair is just a gremlin (hence the attempt to tame it with this 8-second Wonder Water.

I have long, fine, color treated hair, and this has been a lifesaver for me. It detangles, softens, smooths, and makes my hair so much more manageable after washing. I’ll leave it on for a minute or two while doing something else in the shower and just using it 2-3x per week, my hair breakage has reduced significantly. This stuff is my favorite L'Oreal product.I apply mid shaft to the ends of my hair every time I wash my hair. My hair ends up much more manageable looks like it has more volume and much healthier looking like I put a glaze on it. I would make videos to promote this product it is my favorite hair product hands down of all time. You can send me samples of it anytime you want!

I’ve used this about a dozen times…and it does smooth and detangle. Initially, I was thrilled! But I have never experienced such hair loss after using a product, both in the shower and out. I’ve thrown it away and think the product should be pulled from shelves.

I first used this product about a 18 months ago, and thought it was great. It made my dry, unmanageable curls much smoother. I used it about once a week for the first six weeks or so, then about once every two weeks for another couple of months. The one thing that always troubled me was, why only 8 seconds? what happens if it is 15-20 seconds? I have shoulder length, layered hair. Even if putting on the ends of the hair, with layers it is difficult to keep it entirely away from the scalp. And after applying it, I would comb it through quickly then rinse as quickly as possible, but even so, sometimes it could have been as long as 15-20 seconds. Although I still loved the product, I was more concerned that I could not manage the treatment for as short a time as its name suggested. So I stopped. Soon after I became aware of having less hair. I thought perhaps I was shedding due to summer heat. It is now a year later, and my once thick hair is appalling disappearing. I now have no need to use a hairdryer; what strands are left cannot hide my scalp; the hair has receded about two inches from my temples; overall I would say have about a 1/3 of what I had a year ago. I have been to the doctor to see if it is health related, medicine related, vitamin deficiency, vitamin toxicity .. all negative. I feel it is this product that caused this ongoing loss of hair. How do I stop it? Is it reversable? Surely there must be a way to fix this. I have no proof that this product caused this problem, but personally, I am sure that it did. This product should have very strong instructions on the importance of Not Touching The Scalp in any way.. and Not to be used on shorter length or layered hair styles... And state up front, WHY only 8 Seconds.. It feels as light as water so it seems harmless... Appropriate warning on the label is imperative. And if I should find out that I am wrong, I promise to come back to this site and update accordingly.

I was looking for a gloss treatment but couldn’t find one with good reviews. This water is amazing! I prefer to let my hair air dry and I think results come out better with a blow dryer, but my hair still comes out shinier and noticeably feels stronger and softer. It has convenient dosage markers on the bottle so you can put the correct amount in your hair! Definitely recommend to try

I’ve been using this and also the dream lengths lameller water and I LOVE them for my frizzy curly hair. I have pretty thin fine curls that are very dry. Too much deep conditioner or even regular conditioner can weigh my hair down and make it flat but this gives just enough concentrated moisture without weighing my hair down so it is really bouncy and full and thick looking. It also makes my hair feel SO SOFT. I notice a very big difference in my hair when I don’t use this. I also feel like it’s helping my hair grow out longer without breaking.

I have awful dry, frizzy thick hair. This smoothes it very nicely. A word of caution, though: it may damage adhesives. I use a CGM, and it will decay the adhesive that holds it on. I use a large band-aid like patch to hold my CGM in place, and today I saw that the adhesive was dissolving after my shower. So if you need to wear anything with adhesives, use extra caution with this product. And BTW: don't get it on your scalp!

Not only did it NOT shine my hair at all, but wads of hair came out. Tried twice and this happened both times. This does not happen when I simply use conditioner (except for a few strands as is normal). The only thing this product would shine would be my bald head if I kept using it.
