L'Oreal Paris Feria Permanent Hair Color - 6.3 fl oz

I used shade 45 French Roast, which is described as bronzed brown, hoping to cover a few grays in my straight, dark brown hair. Unfortunately, my hair developed a cool-toned red-purple-brown shade that looks completely and embarrassingly unnatural. My hair is now flat toned with no shine after using this product. I prefer the L'Oreal Excellence formula, in shade 5 (medium brown).

Its a bonus for anyone with silver or gray strands: My silver strands picked up the blue tone " a beautiful moonstone blue" I wanted that to happen. Its like moonstone strands woven right in the light. LOVE IT! It color the rest of my hair the true color on the box. That said, if your hair is mostly light or white and you don't want blue tones all over, this not be your best pick. The lighter strands will definitely pick up that blue. Still so pretty on lighter hair if you into shades of blue. No color blue on the market like it for lighter hair. One time I think product old and came out greyish and red All the other 40 times was beautiful, No experation date so don't know what to do.??

This color actually looks like salon quality for so much cheaper. It also smells a lit better than other brands. Hair comes out super soft.

Saw previous comment on same topic; and I also would like to know what happened to #73 dark golden blonde???? Have been using for years……. So disappointed can’t find it.

If you’re hair is dark this won’t do anything but stain your head you need to lift your dark hair to get the results

What does Feria have against Golden Blonde shades? I used 93 for years and loved it. I even moved to 73. but now it's unavailable too?!!! I keep checking for a comeback but it never happens. Color me not happy!!!

I have always loved Lorel products especially Feria for my preferred color dye. This one color is amazing it covered completely some grays and the look and feel of my hair was so healthy. My new favorite color

I absolutely am in love with this product. I have been coloring with this faithfully for about 2 years now. I get so many compliments from random people all the time. I can be in public looking like a feral gremlin, and still will get at least one random, "Ahhh I love your hair color. That is so pretty." I don't have dryness, it doesn't dull after the first wash. I plan to continue being a raving walking advertisement for this product.

I used Smokey blue on my bleached hair and it turned it navy blue… I’m sad

great color, washes out every wash. love the brand and the colors! no matter what color I use, they don't cover Grey's well or last too long. like initially right after coloring, the Grey's are covered but every time I wash my hair, color comes out and I have to recolor every 3 weeks. I use great products for colored hair and take hair skin and nails pills everyday. says permanent color, it shouldn't wash out color every hair wash like it has been.

I usually go to Sally's but I haven't used box dye in ages so I was like wth might as well try, it is hair so worse case I can re dye it, my bf picked the color out and I love it, the roots came out more pinky red but I am sure it wil fade, and the bottom is a choc cherry just as described, for a box dye not bad! I may use it again

Absolutely awful experience with this hair dye kit. The dye smelled terrible, also Irritated my scalp which usually doesn't happen to me with hair dye. Color was nothing like the picture which isn't so bad since I have previously dyed hair so I knew it wouldn't be close. The conditioner in this kit smelled good but didn't completely rinse off my hair causing it to leave a sticky weird residue. Hair felt damaged after as well. Wouldn't recommend

This color turned my hair into a brighter red color, not at all the nice burgundy that was portrayed on the box. Also damaged my hair. Do not buy.

I always purchase the feria brand. This number thirty six by four was the messiest color and wet. I made a mess in my bathroom as the solution was way too runny. I have never had this happen to me before. And over ten years that I have been using the same brand. I normally use B61 color but decided to go darker and I bought number thirty six. I will never again buy this.
