If your hair is easily prone to breakage, DO NOT BUY THIS. My hair feels so brittle and dry after using this product. Also, I had to use both hands to even get the product out of the bottle… it’s nearly impossible.

Horrible packaging
I like the product inside but the packaging is absolutely AWFUL. I don’t even know how it got approved to be manufactured it’s that bad and nearly impossible to get the product out unless you completely unscrew the cap and pour out the product. PLEASE CHANGE IT ASAP

Destroyed my hair! I have had this shampoo for a month now. Went from shiney and silky hair to extremely damaged and terrible ends! The bottle makes no sense either. I am having to take the cap off to get the product. The shampoo is insanely thick as well

Packaging is awful. You can squeeze anything out. Love the design but it should have had pumps. It’s a great product but I won’t buy again due to the difficulty of getting the shampoo out!

GREAT PRODUCT, THE WORST CONTAINER
Literally after using for about a week, I threw the shampoo and conditioner in the garbage. What kind of Hulk strength are people using to get anything out of these containers? Yes you created a unique, never berfore used shape. Should you? Probably not. The conditioner in particular was IMPOSSIBLE to get out. Save your money, unless you want to wrestle it out of the container.

Made my hair feel dry
I loved the smell but man did it leave my hair feeling like I just washed it with pure water. I also purchased it with the conditioner so once I put that on my hair felt a little better but once it dried my hair felt damaged and dry. I only purchased it to try something new bc my usual shampoo was out of stock. Wont be purchasing anymore.

Awful design
Just started using this so I’ll reserve judgement on the product, but the container design is awful. You cannot squeeze the product out because the design is bad and the plastic is too thick and doesn’t give. I’ll be transferring the product to travel bottles so i can use it all.

All form no function
The formula is great, but whew this packaging sucks. It looks pretty on the shelf but it’s really hard to squeeze the product out without dropping the bottle, especially with wet hands in the shower. The shampoo and conditioner bottles also look exactly the same. It only denotes which is which on the front of the bottles. If you have a shower set up where you have to store the bottles below eye level or stacked, it’s impossible to know which is which from the side or top profile. I wrote shampoo/conditioner on the tops myself in sharpie… Packaging people at Laura Polko, please change these bottles!

Love the product, hate the packaging
Things I love about the Laura Polko Color Protect and Volume shampoos and conditioners: the efficacy, ingredients, scents, price points, and ease of purchasing at Target. Things I hate: While the bottles look elegant and fit nicely on the corners and ledges of a bath, they are terrible to handle and squeeze with wet hands, no matter your age or ability. I sincerely hope the buyer and merchandising manager teams responsible for this line will recommend LP change packaging so we don't lose access to what is otherwise an excellent product.

My major issue with this is how much product I feel like I’m wasting (especially in the conditioner) because my god these are hard to squeeze. I was sold by the unique shape of the bottle and the amazing smell. But the shampoo formula (and conditioner) are so thick, you might as well buy a different bottle to transfer it to while you're at the store. Its a pain to wash out of thick hair as well. Plan on washing twice as long if your hair is thick. :(
