Laura Polko Volume Hair Shampoo - 13.5 fl oz

I loved the smell but man did it leave my hair feeling like I just washed it with pure water. I also purchased it with the conditioner so once I put that on my hair felt a little better but once it dried my hair felt damaged and dry. I only purchased it to try something new bc my usual shampoo was out of stock. Wont be purchasing anymore.

Just started using this so I’ll reserve judgement on the product, but the container design is awful. You cannot squeeze the product out because the design is bad and the plastic is too thick and doesn’t give. I’ll be transferring the product to travel bottles so i can use it all.

The formula is great, but whew this packaging sucks. It looks pretty on the shelf but it’s really hard to squeeze the product out without dropping the bottle, especially with wet hands in the shower. The shampoo and conditioner bottles also look exactly the same. It only denotes which is which on the front of the bottles. If you have a shower set up where you have to store the bottles below eye level or stacked, it’s impossible to know which is which from the side or top profile. I wrote shampoo/conditioner on the tops myself in sharpie… Packaging people at Laura Polko, please change these bottles!

Things I love about the Laura Polko Color Protect and Volume shampoos and conditioners: the efficacy, ingredients, scents, price points, and ease of purchasing at Target. Things I hate: While the bottles look elegant and fit nicely on the corners and ledges of a bath, they are terrible to handle and squeeze with wet hands, no matter your age or ability. I sincerely hope the buyer and merchandising manager teams responsible for this line will recommend LP change packaging so we don't lose access to what is otherwise an excellent product.

Not my favorite, don’t like the smell and I feel like I need to wash my hair multiple times with it so it feels washed/clean

This is a perfectly okay shampoo, didn’t wow me but didn’t make my fine hair too crappy either. My major issue with this is how much product I feel like I’m wasting (especially in the conditioner) because my god these are hard to squeeze. For this type of packaging I would expect the shampoo / conditioner to be less viscous and less thick but they are not

I was sold by the unique shape of the bottle and the amazing smell. But the shampoo formula (and conditioner) are so thick, you might as well buy a different bottle to transfer it to while you're at the store. Its a pain to wash out of thick hair as well. Plan on washing twice as long if your hair is thick. :(

Although the Laura Polko volume shampoo leaves my thin hair shiny & soft there was no added volume or body after using the product. I have to admit I was a little disappointed.

I love this product in general but my dislike is the packaging. While the bottles are beautiful in color and shape they are very hard. It’s difficult to squeeze with one hand as they are too thick.

I love this shampoo! Out of all the expensive products I’ve used this has been the best one. My only complaint is the bottle because it’s hard to take out the conditioner especially other than that it’s great.

I love what this product does for my hair but hate the bottle, I have a hard time squeezing it out. I would give five stars otherwise

4.5 stars! I was using Nexxus shampoo and conditioner (for fine hair) and it was weighing my hair down and it was looking greasy after just 12 hours. I switched to this Laura Polko line for fine hair and my hair has literally never been better AND I saved so much money by switching. My hair stays fresh looking for 3 days now. It's soft, shiny, and not frizzy if I use a dense brush after I blow dry. It is a little frizzy if I use a regular brush but that is literally because of the brush and not this product. My only complaint, which is what deducted half a point, is the bottle shape. It's really hard to squeeze out the contents sometimes, especially the conditioner. I have it jimmy-rigged in my shower to be upside-down and it's still a little hard to get out. If they make the bottles a little more flexible and/or change the shape, I will give that half point back 😂

The packaging is a huge fail, I agree with the comments, it may look cute but what is the point if the hair washed experience gets ruined but breaking your hands trying to get the products out, they need a new design. Smells good and does a good job at cleaning hair - I tried the volume version but won’t purchase it again

I won’t pretend to understand the Provolu plumping system, but I can attest that it works! Plus, the convenient packaging makes storing the shampoo and conditioner sleek and out of the way.

The scent was not overpowering and had a pleasant smell. I have fine hair and I did notice a difference in the volume after using this product. For it being a drug store, product, it is a great value that works great. I would definitely recommend this product.

I love the smell—-it’s a very good, clean smell that reminds me of a high end salon product. The shampoo is clear and letters nicely and left my hair and scalp feeling very clean. My hair was shiny all day and easily became smooth with my flat iron.

The bottle makes it hard to get product out. Once my hair dried after using for the first time, my hair started falling and I’m scared now.
