Amazing design, it pays a gorgeous tribute to vespa themselves and is so fun, i’m so glad i managed to order one before they retired, so worth it.

    Fabulous Lego kit

Received this as a present. This is a lovely Lego kit. Goes together really well, no issues at all. Looks fantastic and goes really well with the little red Vespa kit too. Highly recommended.

Pretty but my least favourite build

I should have gone the small red Vespa, but I love blue. This was not a fun build and I would never recommend it to anyone. I have been building for about a year so I would say I have decent building skills and this one was a challenge and not in a good way at all. I had to walk away and leave it a few times so I wouldn't get annoyed and smash it. I will say the I did read the reviews and I knew what I was getting myself in for. So anyone who wants to get this, the reviews are true this is a nightmare to build but does look nice once completed.

    Fun fun fun

The Vespa is a fun build—you’ll like watching it take shape—but does require patience and willingness to double back. The Lego app offers an only a download of the instructions, which is unfortunate because the 3-D views would have come in handy. Also, there are a couple of places where the instructions may be off—e.g. where the build requires a piece not identified in the inset. Finally, I concur with other reviewers who had difficulty installing the luggage compartment and engine cover. (I stuck with it and was able to install both.) None of this takes away from the final product, which is a delight right down the basket and helmet. And again, any builder will enjoy watch it take shape. Finally, this is a great set for those of just getting out feet wet: More complicated than some of the botanicals but not so intricate that a new builder can’t handle it. I’m glad that I was able to get the Vespa before it is retired.

    Stunning lrealistic look

As a recent fan of Lego, I'm 65, this was the second set i chose to build. I loved building my technic Americas Cup yacht so this created a new challenge for me. Building with more traditional bricks that i recall from my childhood. I do find the Lego instructions quite easy to follow and well thought out. However, as a newbie, i didn't realise that not all sets are on the builder app which i had enjoyed using it on my first build. Not to worry. The first part of the build went quite well though i did find the hinges a little flimsy and when i lifted the chassis up i found on more than one occasion it fell off. As its a display piece i don't think its suitable for young children and its not so robust. I found the side pod on the right hand side particularly tricky and whilst its now in situe, its on display never to be touched again in case it falls off. The look though is truly stunning. The light blue colour, the finishing touches of the flowers in the basket, the helmet and the gorgeous wheels. I would readily recommend and it added to my Lego education.

    Need More Sizes/Colors

I loved building this Vespa. It doesn’t have a ton of playability but I make Lego to display not play. I wish there were other sizes and colors. I do have the tiny red Vespa but I wouldn’t mind a size between the two.

    Obsessed

I love this product. I bought this with some vouchers I received for Christmas and birthday and I think it's such a cute addition. Some parts were fiddly to put together and I had to redo some of it as it came apart during building, but now its all together it looks great on my shelf! :)

    Bad build

I've built about 45 Lego sets including about 10 icons. This is the only set I haven't completed. It was very frustrating. I finally gave up. The further I got the worse it became. I may go back to it but not likely. I wish I could just return it.

    Fragile

The entire model is poorly conceived. The assemblies are extremely fragile - definitely not something that can be played with. Could have been so much better.

    Vespa 125

I really enjoyed building this Vespa. It made me think of sunny days in the countryside. I would like to do another but this seems to be the only one.

    Too Fragile

I bought this set and was expecting it to be a good well built set, but after I finished building it the set would keep falling apart anytime I tried to move it or touch it

    Vespa

What started it all!! I got this to build while my grandson was working on a different build. I became addicted to LEGO!! This build was a little challenging as I feel like it is very delicate and if you touch it wrong parts will fall off. Even with these minor struggles I love the end product and feel like it was worth my time

    Worst Lego ever

I got this set for Christmas and the experience was horrendous. The Vespa had cracks and crevices all in it and the peices had no support and kept falling off. There were over 50 missing pieces and I would not recommend this set to anyone. The LEGO looked really cool on the box and on the video on the website but that is the opposite of the set.

    Super cute but poor quality

This was such a cute set! The set does not hold together well and keep falling apart as I was building. I really wanted to like this but unfortunately this is one of my least favorite pieces. I would recommend if you have tons of patience and don’t mind repeating multiple steps over and over. Super cute though!

My experience with the Vespa 125

The Vespa 125 is a great lego set, and I certainly had quite some fun building it. But then, why the 3-star rating? Because the slope that I was supposed to get, I got them combined into one piece. However, it was supposed to be used in the design of the build. And the Vespa's steering handle kept coming off every time I drove like, a meter. And when I was transporting it back home, it completely broke apart. But overall, I kind of like this set, even with the mistakes that it had.

    Very disappointed would not recommend

I wish I read the reviews before buying for my partner for Christmas every time you attach a pies an earlier piece falls of very difficult to get the front steering column to stay in place and the front panels either side fall of with ease the cover over the engine keeps falling off it’s impossible to keep on and we found we was missing pieces and had to order replacement so my partner could build it I have read through the reviews to see people have had the same issue as my partner and I also have see legos response is to re build and make sure everything is in place witch my partner has done he has re built it double checking every single thing And still has the same issue so Lego it’s clearly the set that’s the problem and not the building so you need to re work the design

Best Value for Money Lego Set ever

This is a relatively quick build, and the end product is definitely not 'playable', but it is without question one of the best looking Lego sets, and the value for money on this set is incredible. The build is in 5 bags IIRC and took about 3-4 hours total, which I spread over a weekend. It's not a particularly difficult build, although there are some challenges in terms of bits falling off etc. Longer term this also reduces the 'playability' of the finished product - though I suspect most people display it rather than play with it. And on display it is one of my favourite Lego items, probably up there with the Typewriter. It's surprisingly large in real life, which given the relatively low price makes it feel remarkably good value. I've also gifted this set a couple of times including to non-Lego fans, and it's always gone down really well.

    Challenging build

When I say challenging, I mean due to some complex parts which the set has. I did struggle with parts falling off whilst trying to attach another part which was really frustrating at times. I did dismantle and start again as some parts just didnt seem right and the front wheel still doesn't seem to be secure but it is now complete and displayed with some other sets and its a gorgeous little vehicle. I love it.
