A: If you mean the bricks go together, yes. If you mean if it is a functional gameboy, the answer is no, although third parties have been working on kits so you can add the functionality.

Amazing and Fun Build
I've been building Lego sets for a few years now and this set ranks as one of the great builds. For a small set, it comes together with the usual interlocking pieces and layers. But most notably there are a minimum number of stickers. There are many specially printed bricks which makes for a more authentic build. Now I wish Lego would do this more with the Star Wars sets which contain a huge number of stickers considering how much we pay for them.

Quality! Quality!Quality. Great build from start to finish. Heaps of great techniques used to hide all the studs and have an accurate game boy with functional buttons. This is easily a top 5 set of the year for me and may be a contender for my 2025 set of the year. Affordable. Great building experience and a great display piece. I recommend anyone to get this set from beginner lego fans to hardcore collectors. Even if your not a big lego collector this will look great in any Nintendo or video game collection. I can't recommend enough.

Fun Build & Great Display Piece
This is a great build using a combination of really interesting techniques to achieve the classic Gameboy shape. The build also feels very solid structurally. You can pick it up with zero worry about it being too fragile.

Just brilliant...
This was something I couldn't wait to get. As soon as I saw the pre order I had to have it. As a gamer and retro gamer, I had a Gameboy as a young teen, and still have one or two, and this just ticks all the boxes. The Gameboy is pretty much life sized, the buttons and dials all turn and press, the carts are simple but clever, and the screens are pure genuis! Can't take my eyes off it now it's built! Superb job once again Lego! And so good for the price!
