[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using the Lexar SL500 for 4K video—crazy fast and compact. Magnet works okay, but not great if your phone has a case. Still, it’s clutch for shooting on the go without dragging a laptop around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] im someone that takes a lot of photos. like 153,726 in my camera roll a lot. so safe to say i have a lot of information and a bit of excess. the drive is about the size of a magnetic portable charger, and comes with a tiny usb-c cord. i find it a bit large (i guess not in comparison to amount of storage) but this is the first external drive i have tried since the small usb flash drives so that may be part of why. the information i did transfer went over quickly and easily :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lexar developed this portable SSD and it’s great. It’s small, sleek and compact. Not cumbersome at all. It has a rubber sleeve that protects the hard drive from damage. It is compatible with my iPhone and Mac.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love technology in my house and especially love anything that helps us store (and transfer if necessary) the many documents and photos we accumulate quickly. The Lexar SL500 Portable SSD 1 TB with Magnetic Set made that super easy for us. It is very compact, includes a Magsafe sleeve you can attach to the back of your iPhone for carrying it around on the go if that becomes necessary, and even includes a Magsafe ring to attach to your phone if you don't have a phone with Magsafe. I was impressed with how quickly it transferred several hundred gigs of data in the form of many small files from one computer to another computer. The write speeds were impressive. Considering how small it is, it holds a large volume of data which I really appreciate. I have primarily used it to store photos as well as some important documents. While the Magsafe features are cool, I don't really see myself using this on my phone frequently enough to need that feature. Having said that, I think someone who uses their phone to take a lot of high quality pictures of 4k videos would find this super helpful to have. If you are looking for a compact storage solution that is quick, easy, and good on the go, this device definitely fits the bill.

It is rather quick to transfer files back and forth using the SSD. I didn’t have any issues with the amount of files or size of the files that I could store on it so it must have a pretty large storage capacity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This SSD is pretty nice and solid💪🏼 Nothing too fancy aside from the encryption software which makes it a great choice for personal files, backups, or everyday use (´｡• ᵕ •｡`)I haven’t dropped it myself but it does come with a rubber protective case and a little handle so I feel like it would hold up well if it ever took a tumble🕺🏻. The advertised speed is 1,000 MB/s but in my experience it took about 15 minutes to transfer 125GBs of files which honestly isn’t bad at all🫡. I only tested it on a Windows PC using the USB-C cable that came with it so I’m not totally sure about compatibility with other devices (•́︿•̀) But other than that I’d give it a 10 out of 10 definitely worth the price‼️ ₍ᐢ. .ᐢ₎♡

It’s sped my poor 2 year old equipment up, its super solid and well built, comes with a silicone protective cover too. It was easy to hook up and compatible with all my stuff, i love how small it is i take take it on the road with me.

The transfer speed is crazy fast at 2000 mb/s read and 1800 mb/s write speeds. And the protective case with MagSafe and lanyard completes the package. I’m used to the old external hard drives that take up so much desk space. This portable SSD has blown me away with how functional and compact it is. I would purchase this product and am going to recommend it to my friends. Great value!
