[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using this ac for couple of days. So far it’s cooling well but extremely loud. It’s not monolith and they’re many removable plastic parts that produce very loud rattle. I’m sure they’re better options for that price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this unit instead of a mini-split for renovation of a mall pool house on the property into a guest cottage which will only receive occasional use. Couldn't be more pleased. While we are only heating/cooling about 200 square feet, this unit handles the task easily. The thermostat is accurate and the timer feature especially useful for nights when temperatures will dip below freezing and we want the heat to come on in the empty building long after we have gone to sleep. The noise level is fine. We are very happy with our choice.

Using this unit to cool and heat a 20x10 work room. It is more than adequate for this space. I am located in Texas and the work room is inside a metal shop building 40x40 and is poorly insulated.

I’m very happy with the cooling abilities in my Florida room with lots of glass windows which presents a challenge. This unit has the power and BTU size that really was needed for this situation. I’m loving how it actually cuts off for a little while and comes back on when the temperature gets to high. It’s a 400 square foot room and I set the thermostat for 71 and it maintains it very well. The only drawback is that it’s a little loud but it’s not a deal breaker. I haven’t put it in the heat cycle yet because it’s not needed. I did briefly turn it on the heat and it seems very capable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this LG model about 2 month ago and I absolutely love it. The price was reasonable compared to others I checked. I come in from work and set the heat cycle on 78 and within 5 minutes my whole living room is nice and warm. It fit perfectly in the pre-cut space nice. I will purchase more for my other rooms.

Unit struggles to output 68 air when outside temp is 75. Unit is on North side of the house shaded by large tree. In hot weather Unit is unacceptable. Took repairman more than a week to arrive and claims unit is operating properly.

This review is for model number LT1237HNR with optional grille AXRGALA01 and the optional sleeve. Installation was quick. Good thing because the new unit and sleeve were not as high as the old one so the contractor had to fill in the gap with insulating foam then trim around the opening on the interior and exterior. This was expected. Here is where I advise a little caution. The back (outside facing) of the unit is of flimsy construction. First, there is an included plastic diamond mesh that offers MINIMAL protection. If this unit is installed in a high traffic area or can be reached by people walking by, the back of the unit will be exposed. If you have a lot of birds and insects around your home, the back of the unit will be exposed. Also, if you value how the unit looks from the exterior, this may not be the unit for you. This is why I bought the optional grille. The grille itself is flimsy with the louvers easily crushed as it is stamped from light gauge metal. But the worst part is the instructions say you have to remove the unit from the sleeve before Installing it. In my case, that’s going to be difficult, what with the trim and caulking around the unit. Plus, the louver arrived after my unit was installed. Wish I knew beforehand so I could have postponed installation! I am going to try attaching from the outside as the screw holes line up but it will look a little wonky. I just want to keep the birds and wasps out. I would have loved to have the option have a more durable louver or better designed exterior face of the unit. I understand that engineering and economic principles are in play but still, I would have paid more if given the option. I’m giving this unit three stars. It could easily be four or five if it was built better.

I am very happy with both the installation and the performance of the unit. Here in south Florida where it’s been hot and sticky the unit has no problem in keeping our bedroom nice and cool. I will definitely buy another unit or recommend it to a friend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this unit in our eat-in kitchen in December, 2020, to provide supplemental heat in the winter and additional cooling in the summer. The unit is very loud. It is also incredible expensive to run. Even though we only run it a few hours a day, set at 64 degrees, it has doubled out monthly electric bill! The thermostat is so inaccurate as to be useless. I hope the unit does better in the summer.
