LifeStraw 35 Cup Home High Capacity Water Filter Dispenser

I just received a replacement because my 1st dispenser leaked. The new one started leaking within a few weeks and leaks even more than the 1st. We love the water, but the leaking is a pain in the neck.

A drop of water is left on spout/nozzle after each use. If not manually dried it drops to the floor. Also the spout connection leaks. Unusable.

This is my second one. I returned the first because it was leaking between the spout and the reservoir. This one is doing the same thing.

This was a replacement one since the first one I bought immediately started leaking. This one also leaks. It’s the seal around the nozzle.

Love this for great tasting clean water, and easy to fill directly from the fridge!

The look of the dispenser is nice and the water tastes great, but the underside of the spout is defective and leaks horribly. We ordered a replacement pitcher and the second one leaked worse, so we ultimately returned it for a credit.

I really wanted to love this filter but it leaks constantly from the spout. No matter what we do, it’s a sporadic drip and it soaked our fridge. We ended up putting it on the counter over the sink. Overall, the taste is odd, not “tasteless” like water should be. It’s not bad, per se, but not smooth and refreshing, in my opinion. I would not buy again and will be getting a different filter for household use. I don’t have a water tester to confirm it “works” but assuming it does at least filter as expected, I’ve given it a few stars for that.

I love it except for the fact that it leaks between the spout and the basket. I have to keep a towel underneath. Disappointing. I have other lifestraw products that I love as well.

Thank you for your company and your products. I have worried about drinking "whatever" for quite awhile. I heard about Life Straw from Bill Gates. I am sorry i cant remember where i saw the interview. I am glad there are people like him and you that are helping. It is a wonderful product and i feel incredibly blessed to have it.

This filter system is amazing. Water has never tasted so good. This fits perfectly in my fridge and I can't live without it now. I highly recommend.

Hoping it doesn’t leak again. We didn’t see any changes in the design.

I've only read & heard great things about LifeStraw, and was very excited to ditch bottled water. I went all in on the high capacity dispenser for my family. I followed the cleaning and assembly instructions thoroughly, ran 2 water cycles through the filters to make sure they were properly rinsed, and poured my first glass of water. That night, I was more ill than I have ever been. I had a terrible headache, was nauseous, and couldn't sleep. The next morning I was in extreme gastro distress & vomiting - it continued for 3 days. I went to Urgent Care to rule out stomach flu and other illness - all tests showed no illness. This was clearly because of the water I drank from our brand new LifeStraw dispenser. I'm extremely disappointed that our investment in a new water filtration setup resulted in such severe illness. I assume that it was due to the water filters, but also wonder if it could have been that we simply got a plastic model that was in poor condition? I'm terrified to try new filters - I never want to experience such severe illness again. This was such a disheartening experience with a brand I was truly excited to incorporate into our daily routine. . .

The size online does not accurately reflect the actual size of the container due to the lid (unnecessarily) sticking out over the dispenser and behind. So unfortunately this doesn’t fit in my fridge if the top didn’t stick out it would.

We really like the dispenser, but we had to immediately file a warranty claim because the spigot leaked. Not a problem, got the second one and now that spigot is leaking and we're in the process of figuring that out. Other than that, we love the dispenser. This is replacing 5 gallon jugs as well as tap water for us, so the capacity is important but also functionality. It meets all of those.

Water doesn't taste as good as existing zero water product. However, I could not return it, since we used it to determine if we like it. The size of the pitcher takes up to much space in Fridge compared to other form factors.

The tank itself seems pretty fragile and not the best quality but I mostly care that the filter does its job. Also I should note that it leaks pretty bad. . like big puddle under the tank every day, I have to keep swapping out the towel I keep under it. Otherwise, it holds lots of water and I hope/assume it’s filtering well

Both my original dispenser and the replacement leak at the spout. I wanted to love this but I can’t because they leak all over my fridge. I’m guessing you know about this problem because after my second one is leaking, I got on line and found other people complaining about this issue. So now I’m wondering since they were on sale if you as a company knowingly are selling a defective product to recoup money that you would have lost out on or does lifestraw not have a fix for the problem? Either way I’m not happy with the product and if the issue doesn't have a fix I’d like my money back.
