[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this kayak for a few years now and we absolutely love it!! I weigh almost 300 lbs and it is very stable. My daughter has a pink youth kayak and we lay down the seats in our Honda CRV (2008) put mine in nose first, seatbelt through the hand grip, then put hers in upside down and backwards, attaching her hand grip at the nose of her kayak to the back hand grip of my kayak. They both fit perfectly with all our camping stuff underneath. The seat back is so comfortable and worth it!! I got a lifevest that's shorter in the back specifically for kayaking and we can be on the lake all day. I hope this review helps someone else know you can still enjoy kayaking and the outdoors even if you don't have a camper or truck to haul it all in. We fit just perfectly! Best investment ever!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got 2 Daylite 80 Kayaks as a house warming gift for our new lake house. They were given to us in November so we weren't able to use them until this past Memorial Day weekend. When we got them out of the plastic we noticed that one of the kayaks was missing the front T handle. Then we took them on the lake and the plastic piece that is used to adjust the seat snapped in the first 10 minutes. We rigged it up so it would still work, but it's disappointing. I looked at the warranty and it doesn't look like this would be covered. Couldn't find a replacement parts link on here.

Kayak is priced well, easy to use, like that it came with a paddle. Appreciate the amazing customer service team replacing seat latches lost by movers. Dany you are the best!

I went kayaking with a friend and fell in love with it. I'm a women so I got this 8 footer because it is lightweight and I can load and unload it by myself. It did not disappoint. It maneuvers in the water better than I expect. It's very stable in the water and pretty comfortable. I highly recommend this kayak for women.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My second Lifetime kayak. I wanted a smaller version of my Kokanee that I (73 yr old) could handle by myself. Took it out for the first time and loved every minute of it. Two improvements over my older Kokanee I particularly like - "T" carry handles at each end and a backrest retainer clamp!! Handles great. Durable? - This 'yak' is built like a tank

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the kayak from a local retailer a couple of months ago. Actually the wife did. She got home with it and I noticed that it was missing a couple of pieces. Called Lifetime and they shipped replacements right out! The kayak handles great too!

He stuck with me until I got him the information he needed. Then he took care of my issue.

I used this kayak owned by a friend. I caused a problem with it and worked with Lifetime customer service who went way above and beyond helping me make the kayak right. Used the kayak early June on upper Buffalo River in AR ant it performed just fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a light weight kayak that I can carry. I am 84 year old. When I saw the "Daylite 80" it was love at first sight. I brought it home inside my subcompact SUV. I like the simplicity, comfortable seat back, the attention to small details from paddle holder to tank well storage. As my grandkids would say "awesome"

Adequate but slow. Looking forward to an upgrade.

I took it out for the first time and we noticed after our first use a puncture hole in the bottom of the kayak. Unknown if it occurred during transport or while on the water.

This is giving us many happy hours of kayaking. We are over 60 and needed something very stable and easy to use. It’s very sturdy and stands up to a lot of punishment as well. We can easily hoist it onto the SUV roof rack and travel to the lakes, bay and rivers to put in. Just love it.
