It can be hard finding a clarifying shampoo that really does clarify the hair shaft of residue without drying out the hair or the scalp. This is one of the better clarifying shampoos I've tried. I appreciate that the scent is not too strong even though it has some ingredients that typically have a strong scent. The shampoo doesn't lather in the hands but that's not unusual for a clarifying shampoo. Gifted by livingproof

Overall, I feel like this shampoo does a good job making my scalp feel clean and my hair less oily. It does a good job of really clarifying the scalp and helping minimize the number of hair wash as my hair looks clean longer. I think using it once per week is enough as to not overly dry out your hair and also make sure to follow use with a hydrating conditioner or oils as it can be a bit drying otherwise. Complimentary from livingproof, This shampoo truly removed all residue and product from my hair in one shampoo. My only thing is that it could be drying, I definitely need to deep condition after using this but that's common with clarifying shampoos for me.

I was gifted by Living Proof this shampoo in exchange for my honest review. My first reaction was surprise, the shampoo is black due to the charcoal powder it contains. Despite the unusual color, it still has that classic Living Proof fragrance, which I love. After using it, I was impressed by how effectively it removed product buildup without leaving my hair feeling dry, brittle, or stripped. My hair felt clean but still healthy and hydrated. I'll definitely be adding this to my routine to keep buildup at bay!

This is a great clarifying shampoo. I have oily roots and dry ends, so I need to use a clarifying shampoo at least once a week to get the accumulation of product out of my hair. This is a very effective and yet gentle detox shampoo. Complimentary from Livingproof

Living Proof gifted me their Clarifying Detox Shampoo in exchange for an honest review. The shampoo works really well on my oily scalp and actually gives me an additional day of not having to wash my hair. It foams up nicely and has a smooth texture (no scrub texture). The only thing I would say is that I have dry ends and I definitely have to follow up with a conditioner to add some smoothness to my ends.

One of my favorite detox shampoos gifted by phd. It does a great job at getting rid of all the product build up and making my scalp squeaky clean without leaving my hair feeling brittle. I received the AUG_Clarifying Detox Shampoo complimentary from Living Proof for my honest opinion. It's super gentle on hair. It lathers nicely for an all around clean. It's naturally derived chelating agent helps remove heavy metal buildup caused by hard water andhas activated charcoal that helps detoxifies hair by absorbing odors and impurities. My scalp feels much more hydrated.

Love!! It has a charcoal like texture. You can tell it's kindof scrubbing the scalp and getting it clean. Hair felt super soft after. I think this will last a while since you don't use it that often. Gifted by Living Proof I love that I add this detox shampoo to my regular routine of using the Full line of Living Proof. I like to use it about once a week for a deeper clean on my fine hair. I think it works great at resetting my hair and making my scalp feel refreshed and clean for longer. The texture is thicker than the other shampoo, but it lathers well. It's a grey color I assume due to the activated charcoal. I love using activated charcoal on my scalp for more intense detox. My hair felt more clean, shiny and bouncy after I used the detox shampoo. At the same time my hair wasn't excessively dry either. I will keep using it once a week for a deeper clean.

I like how easy it is to work through the hair and rinse out completely without leaving any residue. After using it, my hair feels lighter, softer, and a lot more refreshed, especially if I have been using a lot of dry shampoo or styling products.
