This shampoo caused me Extreme hair loss and unbearable scalp itchiness. It was the only new product in my routine. My hair was falling off in chunks. As soon as I stopped using it, the hair loss stopped. Take your money somewhere else!

Love this stuff! I have thin, baby fine hair. This helps to make it more manageable. I only wish I could still get the shampoo and conditioner in the larger sizes.

I'm not a person who usually writes a negative review, but this shampoo (and accompanying conditioner) made my hair fall out. It was the inly change in my routine, and it took me a little while to recognize the amount of hair that was coming off my head. My hair became so dry, felt like straw, and was pullinf out in actual clumps. I have NEVER had this type of issue with a product. Be wary if you purchase.

Theres nothing special about this to justify the price especially because its not even a big bottle. My hair isnt worse but i'll buy something else.

There are better hair products out there at a lower price point. The nearly $40 shampoo comes in a small bottle and you need to use a good amount to clean your hair. It has a slight off-putting chemical scent that's unpleasant. The conditioner does not penetrate the hair shaft, no matter how much you use. Their styling cream works well but these products are a disappointment and not worth the price.

I used this shampoo and conditioner for 2 years! I did start to notice ny hair getting dryer and dryer but was to busy to investigate this. One day someone pointed out my hair was thinning out. I made a doctors appointment and everything came out normal the only thing i significantly changed was my shampoo and conditioner. I don't recommend this!!

The shampoo i tried it for a month. Once i finished the shampoo and its conditioner. It dried my hair out so much it had literally no moisture. I wanted to like it but it damaged my hair so bad i had to start using masks to get it back to normal. Never dyed my hair and Ive never had this problem.

This is the best shampoo ever! Why is this getting bad reviews? It smells awesome leaves my hair shiny bouncy curly. Doesnt weigh it down and I can go several days without washing my hair. I have very long hair to the bottom of my waste line. The shampoo and conditioner is amazing!

I don't write reviews but this felt important. I read the other reviews about hair loss but decided to try this anyways because frankly almost any shampoo these days will have a review where hair loss is mentioned. I used this consistently (with no other changes to my haircare routine OR my lifestyle) for about 2 months and sure enough I started noticing a significant amount of hair loss. I have long hair and I go 2-3 days between washes so hair loss on wash day is expected but this was more than normal. I wondered if I was expecting to see more hair loss based on my knowledge of the reviews, but I returned to Ulta anyways. I had used more than 1/2 of the bottle so no refund but I had them trash it for me. I've been back to using amika for a few weeks now and today was wash day. I know for a fact I lost significantly less hair today than I did when I was using Living Proof.

If you have oily hair, stay away!! Used this for two days, my scalp and hair were still greasy after washing multiple times. Super disappointed, wish I could get my money back.

I LOVED how pretty my hair looked after rising this shampoo but I had to wash twice or it would still be greasy, and it got greasy quicker. It also made my scalp so itchy and caused build up. I wanted to love it so bad, and I used up the whole bottle hoping to change my mind but $80 for pretty hair but an itchy flaky scalp is not worth it

I am loving the living proof, perfect hair day high gloss shine. It has instant shine and smoothness. It helps hold my style for the day and helps with my prison limit with the humidity. I would highly recommend recommend this product. I am honored that I was gifted by livingproof.

I wanted an alternative to Kevin Murphy but this was a total bust. The first time I used it, my hair felt dry. I gave it a few more tried to let my hair adjust, buy after being on the pool, I had to wash my hair several times, not necessarily to lather, but to spread it. I used the conditioner too. Once out and dry, my hair has never felt dryer. It feels horrible! I just ordered Kevin Murphy!

I have repurchased this shampoo about 3 times because it makes my hair feel incredible (on the surface) but have come to the realization after months of testing that this shampoo and conditioner was unfortunately the culprit for my hair loss. My stylist has noticed significant breakage and fallout ever since i started using this and i am now in the process of regrowing & trimming off my damaged ends to correct around 4 inches of breakage. Im sad because it makes my hair feel soft at first and smells great, but it has been bad for my hair health long term.

I had to use way too much of this product compared to other high end shampoos I have used and liked. The product is fine, but I would have gone through the bottle way too fast for what I paid for it.

I was so excited to try this going off of the good reviews i read and what a let down it was. This made my hair so weighed down and also felt greasy i paired it with the living proof conditioner . I have fine hair but alot of it and this definitely was not for my hair type.

I used this product several years ago and loved it. After a long hiatus I decided to go back to it. Within 24 hours I developed a full body rash/hives that has taken prescription medication to cure. I was telling my hair stylist about it and she said the company was bought out, changed their formula and she has had several other clients experience similar reactions. So disappointing. I have never had this type of reaction to any product before.
