Q: Aside from cleaning, do you need to access the rain collector between each storm to reset the amount of rain collected?

A: Hello Dinsdale! This unit does not require the rain gauge to be manually drained. It does so automatically as it reads rainfall levels.

A: Hello davyboy! This unit is wireless, in reference to WiFi. It still needs a power cable in order to power on.
