As a loyal customer of Loving Tan 2 Hour Express Mousse for several years, I decided to try their new lotion. My tan turned out so orangey. It was splotchy as it faded. I couldn't get over the color. It looked awful. I was so disappointed. I'll stick with the mousse!

this tanner never fails. Least amount of smell for self tanners, color guide is super helpful and the tan is so beautiful and even, no oragnge jus tdark and perfect. I love that you can shower after 2 hours.

Mousse was sold out in the store, so I tried this. I really regret trying it. It never absorbs in, not even after two hours, rubbing off on anything around could not put on clothes even after showering it off it still is getting all over my towels. Very dissatisfied.

This is hands down. The best hand that loving tan has. I've been a devoted fan of the moose for about 10 years now. Unfortunately, the moose can be quite drying and even with moisturizing afterwards it can end up patchy by the end of the week. The new lotion is far more comfortable, has less of a smell, moisturizes, and fades much slower and even. I cannot get over how good this is. I personally found the best way to apply is with disposable gloves, working one section at a time, making sure to really work the product into the skin. I haven't had any issues with streaking doing it this way.

Way too expensive to only last the day. I get better wear out of my $12 bottle.

I've used loving tan before but was so disappointed with this product. I typically use the Mousse and realized I ordered the lotion on accident. I decided to try it anyways and it's streaky and uneven. It feels great when it goes on but it doesn't apply evenly. I used a mit and followed all the prep instructions. I will be returning it and buying the bonsai tans remover to get it off.

This tanner looked great on my skin! I have a naturally olive/tan complexion and wanted to even out a noticeable farmer’s tan. It worked quickly and effectively—within just two hours, I was really happy with the results. Highly recommend!

My favorite self tanner is Loving Tan 2 hour mousse in medium. I decided to give the lotion a try because i love Loving Tan products. I do not like the lotion as well as the mousse. The lotion smells stronger than the mousse. The tan looks good and is lasting but just doesnt give me the same tan that the mousse does. Also when using i would suggest applying a thin layer. It is a golden tan. Looks good but i will stick with the mousse.

I am super pale. This makes me BRONZED. SO BRONZED that 2 of my MALE co-workers have gone "how are you so tan?" "Youre really bronzed" NO ONE HAS EVER SAID THAT TO ME WHILE I HAD MY OTHER SELF TANNERS ON. I have tried at least 15 different tans in my lifetime and this is #1. Its so good i am using it before my wedding in August.

I had streaks everywhere! I have used several self tan and this was the worst so far.

I am obsessed!!!! Noticed that the smell is way less intense than the mousses, lasts so long if you properly moisturize, and as all Loving Tan line products produces a beautiful olive undertoned tan. I use the dark and it takes me just a couple of minutes to apply! I use the mitt and apply the remaining left on it to hands and feet. Works every time and is perfect for the lazy girl who needs quick and easy! Also, i have a very active job and lifestyle and it holds up SO WELL!!! P.S. The fading might be the best part im never patchy anymore!!!

This product is my new favorite self tanner. It goes on so smooth, smells like summer, there is zero stickiness, and is user friendly!

I wanted to wait to write a review until ive experiened the entire tan cycle with this product. From application to fading, this product is pretty great! Ive tried other brands of self tanning mousse (BondiSands and Josie Maran) and a few other brands not worth mentioning—so for a tanning LOTION, this is well worth the hype in my opinion. The box mentions using an applicator (a mitt i assume?) but i found that the LovingTan tanning lotion gets mostly absored within my mitt, so i switched over to using nitrile gloves (the ones that doctors/ppl in healthcare industry use). For me, the application with that method was seamless and did not leave any streaks. If anything, i noticed i may have forgotten to rub in product completely and ive noticed a little uneven-ness but thats 100% user error. The product is like lotion, not mousse and i honestly really like that better. I did not feel sticky after application, and another trick ive learned that works best for me is to apply lotion (like body lotion) prior to applying the LovingTan self tanning lotion. It helps give a nice even and natural application. For a 24 year old, 5'8, 130-140 lb Latina that lives in the midwest where there is probably (tan worthy) sunshine for two months out of the year, this self tanning lotion really gave me a seemingly natural tan! I was very pleased with the outcome, and even found that layering on the lotion again the following day worked to "build up" the color. My ulta only had the "medium" color available, and had the "dark" been available im sure that is the one i would have reached for. But again, the medium shade gave a really natural look to my skin. Most importantly, it faded really naturall as well. And thats coming from someone who showers at least once a day (this week that ive experimented, ive even had days where ive showered twice) and the tan held up and did not become "patchy" or appear "leathery." Also, i should mention that i would also "marinate" in this product overnight (about 7-8 hours) even though it advertises that the tan develops within 2 hours— that is just a personal preference of mine. I doubt it makes a huge difference, but compared to other mousse's/self tanners, "marinating" in this product was totally doable as i didnt feel overstimulated. Im a huge fan of this product, not necessarily the price, but i think this is now my go to. As with all self tanners, good things must come to an end. The tan lasted a little bit over a week (considering i would apply product a couple more times to certain areas to build up color) and not taking into consideration the fading— which probably added a few more days (i dont use a tan remover, just loofah and elbow grease). Highlights: no orange tint, very natural, buildable (in my opinion), fades naturally, non sticky, smells good, lasts a decent amount of time for someone that showered often. Only con i can really say is there should be more product for the amount of money you're paying for this— or simply make it cheaper/affordable

This has honestly been the best self-tanner I have used so far, especially for my very pale skin complexion. I'm basically Casper the ghost and this Tanner gives me a golden hour tan. Looks very natural and good however after a few days it does fade patchy around high friction areas (wrist, armpits, chest).

I ordered this from the loving tan website. It applies easily and dries quickly and does not feel sticky. The tan develops quickly as well. I was very happy with how it came out. The only draw backs I found were that it faded a little patchy and it was difficult to exfoliate the following week so that a new tan could be applied. Overall it is a very nice product.
