I had persistent issues with towels retaining an odor, no matter which detergent, water temperature, or wash cycle I used. Nothing seemed to work—until now. For my first test, I gathered all of my towels, even the oldest ones that always came out of the dryer with a lingering smell. I used the recommended amount for a front-load washer (filling to line #2 twice per load) and added it directly to the fabric softener compartment at the beginning of the wash. Even with this small adjustment, the results were beyond impressive. Once the cycle was complete and the towels were dried, I was genuinely amazed. They came out smelling clean and fresh—completely odor-free. I even asked my husband to do a sniff test on one of our most stubborn towels, and he was equally surprised at the improvement. The difference was immediate and undeniable. I’ve used this product for about 5–6 loads now and still have roughly a third of the bottle left. It’s concentrated and goes a long way. I thought it smells really amazing and the smell stuck on the clothes which was nice. A little really goes a long way and I love that sanitize the clothes normally when I think of Lysol, I just think of the spray that you use to get germs off of things, but this is amazing and I will be using it continuously

The only down side is it requires two caps full so I went through the small bottle with just a few loads. I already went out and bought the largest size and will incorporate this into my laundry routine.

To test it out, i used it on my sons' very stinky lacrosse gear, cleats. and uniforms. I mean... wow! It definitely removed the odors and made everything sparkly and clean. It smells amazing and fresh!. My ONLY complaint, is that it takes SO MUCH product for each load. It's two full capfulls for each load... so it's not going to last very long. But at the same time, I guess it's not necessary to use this on every day laundry. I like it so much, I just wish it were more concentrated so you didn't have to use as much in each load. Other than that, highly impressed! I love the way it cut through tough sports odors, and I felt very confident the gear was clean and sanitized. I love lysol, they make great products and this one is no different.

I’ve been using this for the extra dirty loads and it seems to be working very well! No smells or stains when his laundry comes out no matter how gross it was going in. Highly recommend this and will continue to repurchase. I have a front loader HE machine so I just put about half a capful in the fabric softener compartment.
