A: Hello and thank you for contacting Make It Real. You can use the alphabet beads; they just do not go into the machine itself. Once you are ready to use the alphabet beads, you would remove the threader bar, place the letter beads that you want on there and then replace the threader bar back into the machine to continue adding the heishi beads. As long as the bead openings can accommodate the threader bar, this can be done with any beads.

A: Extra beads can be used as well. Just follow directions closely, and add the other beads you want, But read instructions carefully as to not jam up the unit. Happy Beading

A: Thank you for contacting Make It Real. All of the beads in this kit have a 2mm hole for the cord to go through. The round beads range from 5mm to 6mm, the star is 8mm and the square letter beads are 0.55cm x 0.55cm.
