I have long straight hair and usually one day after washing it's tangled and frizzy. After using the Matrix food for soft hair oil this has not been the case. It stays soft and smooth days after washing! This oil isn't too heavy like some hair oils I've tried in the past that weigh my hair down. It smells good and leaves my hair soft and shiny. I would 100% recommend this product to a friend and will be adding this product to my hair wash day routine!

I have used previous hair oils that feel extremely heavy on my hair, but the Matrix Food For Soft Oil feels just right. I have very coarse, frizzy-prone Filipino hair, and when my hair suffers with dryness it becomes very unruly and dull. I've been trying out this product for a few weeks now, and I am so happy with it! It couldn't have come at a better time (my hair is usually pretty dry in the summer due to how dark it is and the SUN). It nourishes my dry hair without adding extra weight or feeling greasy. I prefer no heat tools of any kind, (air dry don't fry), and a tangle tease brush for minimal friction. I have thin hair and am a recovering dye-aholic. I am a huge fan of serums and am always looking for good products without weighing my hair down. After washing my hair and a microfiber towel dry, I applied a quarter size of the Matrix Food for Soft Multi-Use Hair Oil Serum only mid to ends avoiding the roots and top of my head with my fingers. I then follow with a combing lotion, brush and then finish with an anti frizz lotion. The first time I use the Matrix hair serum, I definitely used too much and I unfortunately had a slightly greasy look to my hair. The next time I tried a dime size and skipped the combing lotion and it was magical. I've used for 2 weeks and I can see the improvement and hydration in my ends. I could see this as my summertime go-to hair serum. I replaced 2 items which knocks down my prep AM time. I would totally recommend giving this is a whirl.

I liked it but wasnt in love with it. I didnt say major improvement in my hair that was different from a mower price point. I would not purchase this again just from the price point. I have used other hair oils in the past & this one is okay. It has a nice scent. It left my hair feeling soft, but it seems very greasy. The dropper doesn't work well & a lot more product comes out than I need.

But I washed and conditioned my hair as usual then poured the remainder of the oil that I had into my hands rubbed them together then dabbed them on my hair. When my hair was dry it was soft and not frizzy and my favorite part was my hair wasn't greasy looking like other oils in the past made my hair look. I like the product a lot and wish I had more.
