Q: Why do the conditioners contain alcohol?!

A: We understand your concern. Some alcohols can cause dry, frizzy hair while other types of alcohol can act to help condition hair. One of the types of alcohol we choose to use in our formulas are Cetyl alcohol and Cetearyl alcohol. These are known as fatty alcohols, they help give a smooth, soft feeling to the hair shaft by helping the cuticle to lie flat on the surface of the hair. They also function as thickeners, nonionic surfactants, and emulsion stabilizers. Some of our products also contain isopropyl alcohol or denatured alcohol as well. :) We hope this information helps! I have medium slightly wavy hair that is also oily, this conditioner does moisturize as I only need to use a little bit. However it makes my skin itchy. I’m not sure what’s in it that’s causing it. Possibly the fragrance. I won’t be buying it again.

I have fine, oily hair and it easily gets weighed down. This moisturizes my hair and keeps it soft without making it greasy or heavy. And the scent!! It lasts all day, even into the next day. I am wishing I’d bought this sooner because it is great!!

Disclaimer: Make sure your hair is healthy before you decide what you think of this conditioner. I recently got my haircut and am now experiencing the full benefits of this conditioner. I have long, 2c-3a hair that gets weighed down easily, and this moisturizes my hair great, without weighing it down. It gets out all of my tangles (before my haircut, nothing really helped with them). My hair is left soft and shiny after I use this and the shampoo in its line. Plus, it’s ingredients are clean and it smells amazing!

I absolutely love this conditioner! I have long, 2c 3a hair, and switched to this conditioner after trying the shampoo in its line and loving the results. Since switching to this conditioner, my hair is even more soft and shiny after washing and is genuinely moisturized, without being weighed down. It easily helps me remove any tangles while I am washing my hair. I will say, make sure your hair is somewhat healthy before you say whether or not you like it. My hair was so easily tangled before I got my haircut recently, and after the cut, it tangles a lot less. So I knew that the conditioner wasn’t the problem, but the health of my hair. It also smells AMAZING and has all clean ingredients!

I loved the thickness of the conditioner! It made my hair feel so soft and healthy looking! I have a hard time finding the perfect products for me when it comes to hair care. After coloring my hair blonde, it's been frizzy, dry, and just plain dull looking. I wish I tried this product sooner as it has brought my hair back to life!! It's light weight doesn't make my hair flat and smells great!! My whole family loves it!!!
