A: I tried it. It affects the matte lipstick. The glaze comes on like a waxy lip balm and you have to put on a couple of layers.

I bought this because of getting ads constantly for it. It is a good product (easy to apply, no funky taste or smell, somewhat hydrating, and actually stains the lips for hours). But the ads make the product look bigger than it is, and it is also not really glossy. So I was still somewhat disappointed.

It’s a cross between lipstick and gloss. Not super shiny, very hydrating, and my favorite—it’s NOT sticky at all. The caramel glow doesn’t have much color but it still looks and feels great. Will purchase additional colors-also a great price point .
