My family and I love to cook, especially on the grill in the summer months. This has great flavor. We used it on chicken and pork. It is easy to use. We will continue to use after summer is over even if we cannot grill.

We used it to marinate some chicken kabobs that my husband cooked on the grill. While he loved the flavors of the marinade, I did not like it as much. I never have been one to like anything with a smokey flavor on it so I was not too thrilled to receive this flavor. Nonetheless, I gave it a try. For those who are ok with the smokiness would probably love it as I'm sure it would taste really good to them. Me... not so much.

We have been using the grill mates mesquite marinade for well over a year & have been very happy. I recently bought 5 packs & it is horrible. They have apparently sent out a bad batch.

This is already a top brand, so it's a clear winner, but it's even better with its sweet, smoky, and spic-y flavoring. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a simple, easy marinade in a short time.

If you like the taste of mesquite, you will enjoy this marinade. It was okay for me, my husband really enjoyed it. So it was split it. I guess it depends on your taste. I know that McCormick has other marinades that are great tasting and I love and highly recommend. Again if you like mesquite you will enjoy this marinade.

I love using Grill Mates and the Mesquite Marinade is a wonderful flavor both as a marinade and just a rub seasoning. I originally tried it as the marinade and thought it was great, but depending if I cut my meat too thin or left it in too long, the taste could get a bit salty. BUT, it also works great as just a rub seasoning and letting it sit for 30 while I did my other prep. I found that out by accident and it's my favorite way to cook and season now. The flavor is a hit in my family. I was lucky enough to get to try the McCormick Grill Mates Mesquite Marinade at a discounted price for my honest opinion.

We love to grill and marinate food so we were excited to try out this one from McCormick. It's super simple to make using ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. We did find that you can use balsamic vinegar as well to give a little different flavor compared to plain vinegar. I marinated boneless skinless chicken breast and it came out nice, giving that smokey mesquite flavor we all love. A must try!

My boyfriend really likes that mesquite flavor that marinated our pork roast! It did make it tender and flavorful! Couldn't put on grill it was pouring out! So decided the Crock Pot, the pork just melted in your mouth, he went back for 3rds!

Mesquite Marinade Grill Mates By McCormick was a ingredient of dry mixture that required oil and water! The dry ingredients taste amazing yet the mixture with oil and water it drew away some of the bold yummy smokey blend! I used this mesquite marinade on the stove in a frying pan and it tasted like it came from a grill! The meat is juicy with bold smokey spices!

I received this packet free from BzzAgent 🐝 to test and share my opinion! We marinated some chicken breast tenderloins in this marinade and let them sit overnight. Cooked them up on the blackstone and yum! So much flavor, they paired perfectly with some fresh corn on the cob and fried potatoes!

I used this marinade to marinate some beef. As far as mixing the marinade it was simple and quick. I did not use a grill to cook the beef, I just pan seared it. There is definitely a smoky taste to the meat, but for me it was very bland. I don't like dipping my meat into other sauces so I needed more flavor. My husband liked it but not his favorite.

I used this marinade on chicken quarters that i let sit in the mixture for 2 days before cooking. This mesquite marinade is some of the best tasting, most flavorful marinade I've ever used on any meat. I must admit that the smell of it wasn't the most pleasant while it was cooking but the taste was outstanding. A slight smoked flavor filled the entire meat of the chicken throughout, I will definitely be buying this flavor to try on other meats like pork chops. I liked that it only took water and oil along with the marinade seasoning rather than using vinegar like other ones I've used.
