Mederma Advanced Scar Gel - 0.7oz

I must say, I’ve only been using Mederma for one week, and I am already beyond impressed with the results. I took a horrible fall on 6/13/25, and since my legs mean everything to me….especially my knees, which are definitely part of that package! I was feeling extremely self-conscious about the scar. I'm truly grateful that my wound care doctor recommended this product, and I can't wait to see how things continue to improve over the next 7/8 weeks.

I am so disappointed. I received the gel opened and I think used already. Very disappointed

Nothing changes after use it

After only two applications, my scar became very irritated, red, and itchy. I discontinued use and the irritation went away. I'm obviously allergic to one of the ingredients. Unfortunately, the ingredients are not disclosed on the tube or package, and there is no monograph included in the package either. I am only now reading reviews, which I should have done before purchase, and I see that many other people are having the same problem with this scar gel. It seems the formulation needs to be reviewed and changed. For starters, the artificial fragrance should be eliminated. It is way too strong smelling and unnecessary. No, I do not recommend this product.

I had a mini face lift and I was left with raised scars around my ears. I was so self conscious that I thought I would never show my ears again. I’ve been using this gel along with prayer. I found where I could make a review because I literally just looked at my ears for the first time in a long time with a side mirror and I promise the scars almost look like they disappeared. I mean I really looked botched! This is amazing because I can finally show my skin without being self conscious or hiding. Praise God and Mederma! I’m wearing a ponytail for the first time in almost two years! Thank you ❤️

I started using Maderma as soon as possible from a partial hysterectomy. I had 4 incisions. Some you cannot even see them anymore.

I used this product had no issues and my scar is gone very happy with this product

I tried a new product for my face that made me have a horrible reaction on my skin. They started with sores to scares and the scares were so apparent it looked like I had freckles. Thank you Maderma for giving my skin and confidence back. I also get hives and it has taken the scars away from that. So I can wear tank tops without feeling insecure.

I used it on the surgical scars for both knee replacements. My physical therapist and others comment on how well my scars look.

Been using for 3 weeks so far and it’s really helped my scar in my face. My daughter is a Surgical nurse and she recommended it.

I bought mederma about three weeks ago by accident. I fell on concrete and scraped my arm. Once the scrape healed, I started to using mederma. The scar was very noticeable, but after about three weeks, the scar has faded a lot. Not only is it fading, it is also getting smaller and length. I use this product twice daily. I am so excited that I accidentally stumbled up on this product. I will buy again.

Doesn't work unfortunately. I've used it on my scar for over a month. Nothing happens. Maybe if I keep using it longer?

I started using it April 2024 and the scar disappeared so well. It was a burn.

Ordered for a trio of two-year-old trocar scars … Really helping. Wish I’d known about just after surgery. Also wish this miracle aid weren’t so expensive.

I have a surgery four and a half months ago I try to use MEDERMA this product for 4 months but it doesn't work I didn't see anything different

I'm disappointed with this product after purchasing it based on the packaging claims to be a leading product in its category. However, there are no ingredients listed on the tube of gel, which I find extremely telling. Thanks to reading another review on this site, I found out that one of its ingredients is "fragrance." Why in the world would you include this in a medicinal product that you are supposed to apply to yourself, a product that absorbs into your skin, every day, for months on end? There is no need for fragrance to be added, it is silly/pointless at best and a toxic irritant at worst. No one is expecting a scar relief gel to smell fabulous... should be reformulated without it or else create a variant of the product that is specifically fragrance-free.

Works, but smells horrible. Sometimes flaky depending on how much you use
