Cute but may work better on different floors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MEGA BLOKS Block Scooping Wagon has been a hit with my toddler, mostly because he’s obsessed with anything that has wheels. Rolling it around the house is one of his favorite activities, and he loves transporting the colorful blocks all over, which keeps him busy and active. The handle is easy to grip, and the storage compartment inside the wagon is handy for quick clean-up and building sessions. He also likes building towers on the handle itself. However, when it comes to the block-scooping feature, the experience is a mixed bag. The idea is fun—push the wagon, and it should scoop up blocks. But in reality, it only picks up blocks reliably on carpeted surfaces. On our slicker floors, the blocks tend to slide away and the wagon rarely grabs them as intended. This means we usually end up manually picking up blocks and placing them inside, which works fine, but isn’t as magical as expected. I’ve seen other reviews mention similar frustrations, so your results may vary depending on your flooring. Despite the scooping issue, the wagon itself is sturdy, vibrantly colored, and serves as an excellent storage bin for blocks, making it a practical and enjoyable toy for toddlers who are as fascinated by wheels as mine is. For families with mostly carpeted areas, the scooping action may work better and could add a bit more interactive fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the color of the truck. I also like how it scoops up the blocks easily. It is easy for my son to pull it around the house. I also like it pushes easy on flat surfaces like outside. I dont like only 20 blocks will fit at a time. My son has tons of block we wish it could scoop more.

Good for building and storing, not for picking up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wagon is very cute. Our kid likes to move it around the house, the wagon is very easy to maneuver for him. Moreover, our kid loves to use the top yellow handle as a base to build with the blocks. However, our kid and I found it difficult to use the wagon to really pick up the blocks from the floor. It seems you have to drag the wagon at a certain fast speed to be able to make it work properly. Moreover, the problem is that when the wagon is moved in the opposite direction, it actually throws the blocks out. It is easier just to bend down and pick up the blocks than using the wagon. The amount of blocks that came with the wagon left us wanting more blocks, so we bought a separate set of them. My kid loves using the wagon as a container for all of his blocks. Overall, I am happy my kid uses the wagon and he enjoys having it, but we were a little disappointed in the pick-up feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy has a good concept. I love that you can roll the wagon over the blocks to pick them up. It makes clean up just as fun as play time. Only thing that could be better is if it came with more blocks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the product on the laminate floor to pick up my daughter’s blocked. The scoopers are rubber but stiff enough to pick up the blocks yet soft enough not to cause in issue with pinching. I would recommend.
Great idea but needs some tweaking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MEGA Bloks Scooping Wagon is a fun and colorful toy that helps toddlers learn through play. My child loves pulling the wagon around and building with the bright, chunky blocks that are just the right size for small hands. We’ve used it both inside the house and outside on the driveway during the day, and it holds up well in both settings. The idea of scooping up the blocks as part of clean-up time is clever and makes tidying up more engaging. However, in practice, the scooping feature doesn’t work as well as expected — it doesn't pick up the blocks easily, and we usually end up placing them in the wagon by hand. Also, the blocks don’t always stay in the wagon while it's being pulled, which can be a bit frustrating. That said, the built-in storage is helpful, and it’s still a great toy for encouraging creativity and early responsibility. With a little patience, it's a fun addition to playtime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 13-month grandson took to the MEGA BLOKS Block Scooping Wagon right away. Out of the box, my grandson went right for the red wagon. He enjoys pulling and pushing the wagon, his new favorite toy. Although he does not yet have the manual dexterity to put the MEGA BLOKS together, he likes taking them in and out of the wagon. This toy is keeping my toddler grandson busy! As my grandson gets older, this toy can be used to learn how to count and to identify colors, while building on his fine motor skills. The complete toy set is colorful and attractive for toddlers. The solid construction and a smooth design make it durable and safe for kids to use. Fun and convenient for parents too, the wagon rakes up the MEGA BLOKS easily for clean up and storage. With a variety of ways to use and play, the Block Scooping Wagon is a toy your child can grow with and learn, from 12 months and older.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toddler absolutely loves playing with these mega blocks and scooping wagon. The blocks fit perfectly in her little hands to help fine tune her fine motor skills. The blocks are very brightly colored so they are easy for her to understand what colors they are. She’s able to practice counting since they come in different sizes, which also helps with creativity. The wagon has a very cool pick up feature but sometimes it desnt always work. We’ve tried on both carpet and hardwood floors and it picked up easier on the carpet. The handle also has a little spot for them to build the blocks on which is super cool. Overall my toddler loves playing with the blocks everyday and takes them where’d she goes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My almost 2 year old loved that he could put blocks on the handle. He had a lot of fun dragging the wagon around. The 4 year old said he had trouble getting it to pick up the blocks- it takes adult support.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Mega Blocks scooping wagon is great! I love that the handle to drag the wagon is sturdy and helps my child balance as they walk. The scooping feature is great! Even my not so baby anymore kiddos like dragging the wagon across the blocks to pick them up. It contains enough blocks to keep my child entertained and they love walking around pulling the wagon along.
Has lots of potential!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product was received on july 1st. It saw it first usage on July 2nd. It was enjoyed by a 10 month old boy. Play area was a carpeted living room. He seemed to enjoy it well enough, but may be a little young. He tried to walk and push it numerous times, but it seems to be very unstable and tips easily. He loved the blocks, but I would definitely recommend having more blocks, as it only comes with 20. The colors are vibrant, but could be better. I wish it had a sticker pack. Perhaps some wheel insert stickers, some racing stripe stickers, or even flames. It just seems a little lacking in the attention grabbing department. The wagon picks up blocks from the floor as you roll it, but it can't hold very many without them getting in the way of the action area that grabs the blocks. If you push it backwards, the blocks can come right back out, the same way they went in. The handle is nicely made and has an area to attach the blocks too. Those area's should have been put on the side edges of the wagon as well, as playability would be increased. Visually it's very good. Audibly it's completely lacking. Maybe a clicking feature in the wheels when you roll it, would be more engaging. Overall, he liked the blocks more than the wagon, as it just didn't keep his attention for very long. With the right tweaks, I think it would do much better.
It’s ok… Not great, just ok.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My package came while my kiddo was taking a nap, so naturally I had to go ahead and get it out and get it set up for him for when he woke up. I tested it out and found that for every 5 blocks, it might actually pick up 2. It has an opening where it is supposed to pick up the blocks, so you can’t use it as a wagon. Once my kiddo woke up and saw it, he played with it for about 15 minutes before abandoning it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Three year old grandson has been playing with his scooping wagon daily. Although he tried to use the scooping mechanism of the wagon to pick up the blocks, not many got scooped up, maybe one or two blocks. He realy enjoys playing with the blocks and stacking them. He also puts other toys inside of his wagon as well as the blocks. The scoop on the front he rarely uses due to the fact the blocks just slide across the floor when trying to pick them up.
Instant favorite toy for my one year old!
