A: Hi Ash! - Great question! The chair can hold up to 250 Pounds, so the legs are definitely pretty sturdy. It should hold up okay if the kiddos wanna use it to stand on while they climb to sit on the top of the chair, I would just be cautious of an adult doing so as this is a foot rest. Color Not as Advertised - Changed from Previous Color
Either Studio McGee or manufacturer, someone, changed the color of the wood seat on these stools. I bought 2 of these stools a few years ago. I recently moved into a new place and needed 2 more. Luckily, they were still on the website. However, the wood seat of the stools are totally different colors now and don’t match the photo as advertised on Target. Really disappointing. The new color is a much lighter, cooler tone and honestly looks cheaper and fake to me. Please bring back the richer, warmer toned wood. It looks way better. (In my opinion).
