Q: Why does this say series 4? This is a new series. There is a Miniverse CAFE Series 4 (which isn't listed on Target's website, maybe because of the confusion with this item being called series 4?

CAN'T OPEN CONTAINER
I bought this last night. I have never tried this one before. I have many other ones before. Many Plants, Cakes, Cupcakes, foods of all different kinds. Never had as much trouble as I did with this one. For the life of me! I could NOT GET THE BROWN BUTTER YUB OPEN! I tried to unscrew it NOPE! I tried to pull off top NOPE! I tried PLIERS TO TWIST... NOPE! I tried SCREWDRIVER TO PRY... NOPE! I tried them together... NOPE! I tried a KNIFE TO CUT... NOPE! NOW I have the tub dented, cut spots, chewed out areas, burs, it's LOOKING PRETTY BAD! HERE COMES THE GUNS!! TAKE SCREWDRIVER HEAT UP TO RED HOT METAL! PUSH ON TOP OF TUB AND MAKE A HOLE!? YES, A HOLE FINALLY WE CAN START TO MAKE! the tube of icing it is not self-explanatory how to open it. I squeezes it and a toothpaste like line of green icing landed on my hand. Very sticky mess to get off so be careful when opening the icing. Be careful, putting the icing on the cookies. The consistency does not allow you to put the amount you want without touching it and please wear gloves. so it turned out into a messy sandwich Kitty cookie as you can see you can see

Cute concept but materials need to be lasting product for display usage. If needs to stay covered, then make domes completely clear for display. Cost too much for a product that continues to shrink/dry.

Disappointed
My daughter picked out this kit. We tried one in the past, which was easy to do, but had a strong chemical smell and would never dry. This time she scored the cupcake kit. No chemical smell, which was great, but messy ans sticky. The frosting aka pretend whipping cream would not come out of the tube. The one container was dried out. The butter was buttery and smelled yummy. Didn't work. My daughter was sad and frustrated th and had to deal with the hard to clean mess on her hands trying to get the good to come out of the containers. We will stick with the toy surprises rather than the donit yourself creations. I am sure some work great, but not worth the money to try again.

Disappointing
My kids were very excited to try these and had been talking about it for months. They finally each received a ball as a gift. One ball was a decorated birthday cake. It went fairly well but when it came to put the letters on the cake, there were no As or Ps to make Happy Birthday. She was going to change plans and just put her name but didn't even have the letters to spell that (which is only 4 letters). The second ball was a bigger disappointment. It was a cookie set but by the time she mixed the dough and rolled it out, it was too dry to cut out the cookies. She did not leave it out for very long. Basically the set is worthless as she can't do the rest of the steps. My daughter was in tears. We wanted to love these, but I wish the quality was better.

Horrific Substance In Kit
This is the most repulsive experience I’ve had in a very long time. Whatever horrific substance is in the pink frosting bag burst out all over my hands when I tried to open it for my daughter, and when I went to wash them, the stuff simply coated my hands and refused to budge. More than TEN MINUTES of hard scrubbing with Dawn dish soap and my hands are still grotesquely covered in this substance. It looks like they’re peeling. I have no idea what’s in there, but it is noxious and needs to go directly into the trash if anyone orders this!

Love little tiny things. Super cute set. Works best if you have a uv/led lamp. It dries so much faster that way. Put down a tray or barrier for easy clean up for little ones who need assistance. The craft is done in less than 20 mins though, so it goes by quick.

It’s literally sooooo fun and cute but make sure you do it on a clear space on a table or flat surface. It may get everywhere, but overall it’s soo soo fun but maybe for 10 and older or kids that have steady hands and are very responsible. I loved it even though I spilled it a little. Some parents complain because it spills and leaves a weird residue on the furniture, but it will go away eventually.
