MGA's Miniverse Make It Mini Makeup Series 1

This was fun to make with my daughter! She loves all things mini right now and has recently started becoming interested in makeup, so this was perfect! Nice quality eyeshadow too!

It was fun to make but results really depend on which makeup item came in your mini verse. The nail polishes came out great, but the eyeshadow is a powdery, crumbly mess. Would give 5 stars for the nail polish, but only 1 star for the eyeshadow. Nail polish bottle is hard to squeeze and definitely requires adult help. All in all, not as good as the other miniverse kits.

Absolutely horrible did not even work we got the lip stain and you couldn’t even put it in the container absolute trash do not buy horrible look at the picture you’ll see it didn’t even fit in the container.

Does not work, we got the eye shadow and and eyeshadow oil does not work. It clumps in one spot and you can’t mix it.

I got the eyeshadow and my sister got the lip gloss. They were both hard, messy, and just not fun to make. We both got very aggravated. Definently not worth the money at all.

These were definitely fun to make. Over time, I figured out a way to find the exact items I wanted in the makeup series. Learned that I’m not a fan of the eyeshadows, so only collected and made two of them. The red and pink shadows. Just a little tedious. The lip stains were tough to work with the pipettes provided, but with some patience, it’s doable. I found the nail polish and lip oils to be the easiest to make and fill. It was definitely a fun activity for my daughters and me. I kept a couple extra containers of the lip oils empty for me to fill with my own products, haha. The polish washes off/comes off very easily and quick (perfect for my kiddos). Do wish they weren’t like $10 something each, though. Other than that, fun activity.

After 7 attempts to get the eye shadow, we could not find eyeshadow and it was annoying and sad so we think that you need one to make more eyeshadows and two put what it is in tiny print.

The powder is difficult to work with, messy, and led to a melt down from a 7-year-old who normally loves these kinds of activities. Avoid

Worth the money! Adults can enjoy this with the children.

Before anyone comes for me, I have been making multichrome eyeshadow and lip products since 2022. I know what right looks like. The people crying about how their stuff came out didn't read the instructions because they were extremely clear for me. I'm talking about the instructions that have the list of makeup you can collect on the back. For those that need a visual for the eyeshadow, the bowl is how it should look while you're making it. It's not going to be finely milled since you're not using anything to sift it. The shadows need 3 drops at minimum, no more than 4. If you use too much, use a paper towel and gentle press it to make the paper towel absorb the oil. If it looks messy when you're done like mine does, take a q-tip and gently wipe with 70% isopropyl alcohol. It will look cleaner than my finished eyeshadow. You can do the same with the tamper (thing with the M on it) if you accidentally lift the shadow. You'll have plenty left over. Also the pipette is fine. You just need to wait til it deflates before removing it from the oil container. The only negative I have with lip oil set is that the bottle with the pigment and oil is too stiff. It would be easy to accidentally use too much. Don't fill all the way to the top of the finished lip oil product container or it will overflow. Leave about 1 mm of space just below where the cap screws on if that makes sense. Finally, if your kid wants to take cosmetic science to the next level, go to TKB Trading Co and get them the starter kits. Cosmetic science is a lot of fun and I wish I had this as a kid! My daughter got the eye shadow and when she added the oil to the powder it would just stick to the spoon and not mix or transfer to the eye shadow container. Lots of frustration and mess.

I bought this for my niece. She was so excited to make her own make up. However, there was missing items in our package, and we didn't know it till the package was already opened and items were used. Also, the eye shadow holder was not easy to work with at all. Do not recommend

I bought one of these for me and my 11yo daughter to do together. We received the red eyeshadow. We thought how fun! We started making it and the instructions say to mix the oil with the powder. It made a huge mess. We couldn't get it out of the bowl, into the space and then it was too wet to stamp. We are hoping that it will dry a little and we can stamp it still, but it looks like a mess. Did we do it wrong? The instructions were just vague.

Would not recommend - stinks so bad

My daughters and I got these to do together. We got a lip stain it and eye shadow one. We followed all of the instructions and could not get the product to transfer to the final containers. More lip stain ended up stuck in the beaker and transfer tube. They eye shadow stuck to the imprint tool and wouldn’t stay in the pallet. Very disappointed! My girls were so excited and ended up very sad that it didn’t turn out!
