Q: Why does this say series 4? This is a new series. There is a Miniverse CAFE Series 4 (which isn't listed on Target's website, maybe because of the confusion with this item being called series 4?

My kids were very excited to try these and had been talking about it for months. They finally each received a ball as a gift. One ball was a decorated birthday cake. It went fairly well but when it came to put the letters on the cake, there were no As or Ps to make Happy Birthday. She was going to change plans and just put her name but didn't even have the letters to spell that (which is only 4 letters). The second ball was a bigger disappointment. It was a cookie set but by the time she mixed the dough and rolled it out, it was too dry to cut out the cookies. She did not leave it out for very long. Basically the set is worthless as she can't do the rest of the steps. My daughter was in tears. We wanted to love these, but I wish the quality was better.

This is the most repulsive experience I’ve had in a very long time. Whatever horrific substance is in the pink frosting bag burst out all over my hands when I tried to open it for my daughter, and when I went to wash them, the stuff simply coated my hands and refused to budge. More than TEN MINUTES of hard scrubbing with Dawn dish soap and my hands are still grotesquely covered in this substance. It looks like they’re peeling. I have no idea what’s in there, but it is noxious and needs to go directly into the trash if anyone orders this!

Love little tiny things. Super cute set. Works best if you have a uv/led lamp. It dries so much faster that way. Put down a tray or barrier for easy clean up for little ones who need assistance. The craft is done in less than 20 mins though, so it goes by quick.

More for kids 8+ my 6 year old daughter had a hard time following the instructions and making it herself too messy and hard to clean. Wouldn’t recommend this for young kids.

It’s literally sooooo fun and cute but make sure you do it on a clear space on a table or flat surface. It may get everywhere, but overall it’s soo soo fun but maybe for 10 and older or kids that have steady hands and are very responsible. I loved it even though I spilled it a little. Some parents complain because it spills and leaves a weird residue on the furniture, but it will go away eventually.

Too expensive to be a surprise. Getting the same thing is not fun for a kid. The glue instantly sticks to skin and wouldn't come off under faucet for 5+mins. Not good.

The kids followed the directions and they were easy to follow. My 7 year old made hers and wanted to buy more with her birthday money. These minis are durable and the quality is nice. They hold up very well once it is set. Some people love to make these and keep them as collectibles. These minis are easy to make and you have something to keep when you are done. I’d you like crafting you would love these minis. This was just like manning a mini cake. We got the 2 layer cake, each one is a surprise, could be cupcakes, cookies or a pie. You get "raw" ingredients, and they get to experience making a little dessert from scratch. It's takes a little time to set. It came with brown butter, cake mix, little tongs, sprinkles, a spatula, and bowl. Follow your recipe card and then store it in the capsule to keep it fresh. It wasn't very messy. We used a cardboard box underneath to contain it, and it worked prefect. It's not edible and recommended for ages 8 and up. #miniature #mini #tinyfood

This series is so fun especially if you don’t feel like messing with resin. They are easier and you don’t have to cure them. You just let them air dry and then they are done. I got two balls, they were both cookies and super fun. Definitely not as messy as the ones with resin

It makes me sad because I love most of the miniverse except these. The ingredients are way too little ( amount not size) and the bits you can mush out are dry and brittle. My cat cookies are now crumbles and a waste of $10
