Q: Is the xl twin fitted sheet deep enough for a 14 inch mattress?

A: I just recently got these for my 14 inch king size mattress and the corners are barely hanging on! it will work, but I will personally be returning and looking for a deep pocket fitted sheet so I don’t have to worry about it coming off :)

submitted byAda - 1 year agoA: Just FYI... I purchased this color and it is BROWN. It doesn't resemble that pic. It's a bit darker. And I didn't read reviews that mentioned the inside of the "fitted" sheet is just a sewn-in patch of elastic at each of the 4 corners. Didn't like that at all. I can see that breaking apart in a few washes or sooner. Then you have nothing holding it down. Also in the twin XL - it is not that deep if you have any mattress top added.

The aqua color ones were pulling after less than 5 washes and I had to retire them. Very disappointed. Not sure what happened. The white are not too thin as someone else mentioned in their review.

I got 2 sets of this pattern and 2 sets of another for my girls, havent gotten to try them yet (still waiting on mattresses) but will update on fit (6 inch mattress) and durability. I washed the other pattern and it washed up well and both have beautiful colors. they're soft and smooth, a little on the thinner side but nothing crazy. added bonus: the bag they come in can be washed and used to store the sheets plus theres a top/bottom tag that makes it easier to find which side goes where.

I like the design and they seemed very soft, but upon washing them I realized they are made of recycled plastic and had a lot of "lint" come out in the dryer vent, which is essentially microplastics. I don't feel good about sleeping on plastic or breathing in microplastics, and they accrue static very easily. I wish I would have realized this before purchasing; I would have gotten cotton instead.
