[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Mielle Kalahari Melon & Aloe Vera Deep Hydration Shampoo on my daughter’s long, wavy hair and overall, I really like it. It leaves her hair soft, shiny, and so much easier to manage after washing. Her waves look healthy and feel super clean hydrated, which is a big win for us since her hair tends to get dry. The scent is light and refreshing, not too strong and the formula feels gentle but still does a great job at cleansing without stripping the moisture. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish it had a bit more slip while washing to help detangle during the process. But honestly, once it’s rinsed out, her hair feels great. Value of the product is great and it has a nice package. Definitely a solid shampoo that I’d recommend for kids or anyone with dry, wavy hair!

This is a great smelling product and like other meille products I tried, it has a light weight result. My hair is fairly flat and I curl it occasionally. I applied it to the curls but didn’t get the results I desired. I think it’s better suited for naturally curly hair. Overall I love the price point, accessibility and quality of meille products. I’m excited to try more

The texture is fine and ease of application is very easy & I didn't feel the need to over use the product to get the desired coating I need. My hair is light and damaged from processing and I had to leave this on a lot longer than 2 minutes to get the deep conditioning I needed. I don't feel it relaxed any of my hair and the hydration that I did get from it definitely didn't last 5 days. It honestly could just be my hair type and the damage I have from age, hormones, & color processing that it doesn't work well with. It's just not for me.

I created a ticket to try and get it fixed but no response so I will go ahead and review here. The shampoo has a nice clean scent. Not overpowering and has a great texture and consistency. It does seem to make my hair shiny and smooth. I like that it creates a lot of bubbles. A little goes a long way.

However, I’ve been using it as a random conditioner and it feels nice and doesn’t weigh my hair down. It’s not heavy and it smells great. All in all, if you have curly hair, give this a try!
