Itchy irritated scalp
The product has a pleasant scent and feels nice on my scalp for about two days after my shampoo and condition routine but day two my scalp becomes itchy and my hair feels very dry. I don’t typically have itchy scalp nor do I have dandruff. The ingredients listed seem beneficial although I’m not familiar with all of them but something in the formula does not agree with me. This is the only Mielle product that I’ve tried.

Thanks Mielle for helping my self esteem return. Due to my illness I have been dealing with hair loss and going natural has been very hard with being on certain medications as well. I have been trying to find the right products that work well on my hair. This pomade is part of a daily ritual that helps keep my hair moisturized and less shedding. I am so happy.

Great non greasy pomade
I bought this product at Sally's. Looking for something that would hair my dry hair with split ends. Never used your products before,, and was indecisive about what to get..making a decision to go with this pomade and a silk elements product..it took me about 20 mins to finally decide on this one...I made the right choice, and think that I've found my new product for dry hair...It smells good, is not heavy or greasy at all,, left my hair so soft, silky and shiny and had nice body after using this pomade. I give it a 10 for sure...LOVE THIS PRODUCT. also got the oil...looking for a gel/ edge control that holds for more than a couple hours...so will eventually try one of your product for that too

We appreciate your feedback. We appreciate that not all scents from the oils will be everyone's preference -- such as rosemary, mint or even beeswax. Rosemary Oil can have a herbal aroma that is often associated with medicinal or therapeutic products. Peppermint Oil can have a sharp, menthol scent, commonly found in medicinal balms and throat lozenges. Beeswax can also contribute a slightly earthy undertone. We're always listening! Horrible
I purchased this because of the rosemary that this product states it contains. This was my first time using this product and this brand. I really did not care for the scent because it ( to me) was extremely strong. My hair starting shedding and my scalp itched a lot with this. I honestly wasn't sure if this was the issue at first because I did also use a new conditioner. I stopped the conditioner and continued with this prduct the rosemary mint strengthening scalp & hair quencher. Then realized this was the ISSUE. This caused my hair to shed and to completely break off and fall out. It is also overly oily and has a very strong menthol smell. I will NEVER, ever use this brand or any other PG brand on my hair.

Pleasantly Surprised...
After reading several reviews that complaining about the oiliness and the scent, I was verv pleasantly surprised...It was not oily (I only used a tiny bit), and it did not have a heavy scent (did not smell like Vicks)...I used it on clean hair (natural 4C) that was misted with water with the rosemary mint daily styling creme... It's my first time using...It left my hair soft (not greasy), so I'm content...

My new scalp oil
Pleasantly surprised! I purchased this during one of Mielle’s wonderful sales and I was looking for products to care for my 4C hair. I was newly natural so experienced a lot of trial and error with other brands. I started using it for twist outs and the Rosemary Mint Oil on my scalp. Loved it. Then a few months ago I ran out of the oil and decided to try Rosemary Mint Pomade in my scalp. Loved it! Not heavy and goes on as describes - pomade to oil scalp quencher 👍🏾👍🏾🩷

These "Good" Reviews Are SUSPECT to the MAX!!!
This is the most TOXIC so called "hair pomade/oil" I have EVER come across. I tried it for 1 month, and my hair was so dry and brittle that it started shedding. I did not want to believe it was this stuff because of the 'good' reviews, but after I stopped using it and went back to what I had been using, my hair returned to normal and stopped shedding. If people honestly had good results from using this, then good for them, but I sure don't see how. Thank goodness I only used it for that month because the damage was minimal. I will NEVER use ANYTHING else from this line, it only takes one time for me to live and learn.

So disappointed
Grievously disappointed with this product line. I purchased the Mielle line from Target in May 2024, and have used it until August 15, 2024 when I stopped its use immediately. The product dropped my hair out in chunks. I have beautiful curly/wavy hair that sat on my shoulders and even longer when blown out and flat ironed. My hair is now just a little past my ears. The product was quick to build up and be sticky on my hair, and the oil itched my scalp terribly. I heard such good things about Mielle, but unfortunately I can't say anything good about a product that caused scalp irritation, itching, hair damage and breakage. My advice if you choose to use this product, inspect your hair daily and carefully. Hope this helps...
