How To Use: Prime wet hair with Pomegranate & Honey Leave-In Conditioner before styling. Optional: for best results, apply Mielle Mint Almond Oil after priming while hair is still wet. This will provide added conditioning and help to reduce potential flaking. Define curls by applying Coil Sculpting Custard to dripping wet hair. Divide hair into small sections and apply generously, fingering the product through making sure to coat the strands evenly. Allow hair to air-dry or diffuse for added volume. Although typically used to style Wash-N-Go's, you may style as desired.

A: Good Day Maven! The Souffle helps with semi definition. The Custard is for deeper definition and more hold. It also has a semi-gel like texture. Typically, if a type 3 curl maven wanted to use the Pom and Honey, they may prefer the Souffle. Type 4 curls can use either. This custard is AMAZING. I am not used to seeing my curls and coils looking so healthy (photos are from the end of Day 2 of a wash & go!). I used this along with the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner from the same collection, but THIS is the holy grail of the set. I admittedly went in a bit heavy-handed, so my hair looks a bit weighed down right now. But it doesn’t feel weighed down, and I know the volume will increase as the days pass by. I’m excited to use this again because I feel I will get several days in between washes due to how moisturizing yet defining this is. Just wow. I’ve lost some definition in certain places over time (due to over-picking, over blow-drying, styling with tension, etc.), but I think my curl pattern will be restored by using this regularly, as I don’t need to fuss or style much when this is in. This custard makes me feel confident in just letting my hair be, as is. ❤️ I hope they come out with a fragrance-free version, that way I can mix-and-match this styler with products from other lines (as I don’t like mixing scents). I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with 3c-4c hair!

I bought this for my beautiful curly hair that I had never cut since I was a baby, my hair was at my behind, passed my knees when washed. I used this product for A WEEK and my hair began to fall, thin out at the ends and dry out. Please don’t buy this product, it ruined my hair.

This product is very thick and when applied your hair feels gooey. It flaked up really bad I woke up mid night with the itchiest scalp of my life thought I had got fleas how bad it itched then I remembered putting this product in! If I could do zero stars I would. Please save your money

I had high expectations for using these products, and I was not disappointed from the first moment you feel the difference. I bought 2 lines, the mint and rosemary one and some pomegranate and honey products. Using the right amount and not excessively, there is no residue. I am in love with this gel. Mainly, it does not leave my hair hard, I have mobility, hydration, beautiful definition. I will see how it goes with the rosemary and mint line and my hair loss. The rinse works instantly. My hair feels soft when untangled.Everything comes beautifully and carefully packaged. I have no complaints! Thank you for helping us choose the right hairline. I have 3B and 4A.

I’ve been using product for over a year off and on. I love the product as it is the only product I’ve used that keeps my curls soft and moist. But….hate the flaking. The flaking causes me to wash my very short hair daily (which is truly not a good thing to do). I follow the guidelines and use only Mielle products but still get the flakes the next day. I wish somehow the flaking would stop.

I have 4c hair and I was pretty excited to try this coil sculpting custard but it’s pretty underwhelming and honestly terrible. i’ve gave this product multiple chances but it as it dries it continues to flake up and makes my hair look dirty and dandruffy. It does help my coils pop so I have tried using varying amounts and methods but it continues to have the same effect.

I have thick 3b/3c curls with coarse texture. I like for my curls to look nourished with a strong hold due to its tendency to frizz and appear dry. This holds my curl pattern with the perfect strength without being too stiff. There’s minimal “crunch” to the touch (I do prefer a little firmness so minimal to me may be too much for others) but it’s mostly soft and no residue on my hands after touching it unlike other creams or mousse. I find it holds for at least 24-36 hours after a wash which I’m totally okay with. I just wish it was cheaper considering how much product I use but it is worth the price overall.

I just cut my hair off a month ago to get rid of the relaxer, so I am new to the twa wash and go game. I've tried several mousses and gels. So far, I think this works better than anything else I've tried. I took off a star because the texture is kind of weird and takes some getting used to. And, it takes a lot of trial and error to use it effectively. The first time, I used it with the Mielle Max Hold Mousse. Big mistake, it was flaking all over the place and I had to rinse it out. The next time, I just used a tiny bit of Pomegranate leave in and the custard. I think I used too much because my hair was hard as a brick. BUT, the next day, I misted it with water and it looked great! It lasted 6 days before it started getting frizzy and it got nice and softer with each day. I'm still learning the right amount to use on my hair and how to pick it up so that it doesn't drip all over the place (I'm almost thinking of trying a pump bottle), but I've decided to buy more of this, This Custard is my new wash n go product.
