MindWare Gembatan Strategy Board Game

Students loved it. They were very intrigued by the game

This is a quick little family game with a good concept. There is some minor strategy required. I do wish there was an easier way for the tiles to sit still once placed or for the gems to stay when added.

I received this game from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I played the game several times with my 12 year old son. We enjoy playing board and card games together regularly so we were both excited to try this new game out. My son and I both found this game lacking and ended up not playing the game all the way through to completion anytime we played it. The rules were complicated and the game seemed like it would be better suited as an online game or game app. Overall, I'd give it 2 stars

I was sent this game to review as a member of Stellar Product Testing Panel and played this game with my family - we really enjoyed it! The directions were clear and easy to understand, even for a younger player. My daughter loved the strategy aspect and that she could play this game with her cousins as well. It's a game even the adults enjoyed! We love to play games with our older daughter and Gembatan will definitely be added into the rotation!

As a family we enjoy playing board games together but often get tired of playing the same games over and over again. We were given the opportunity to try out a new game thanks to the weeSpring parent panel. My family was first apprehensive to play because we had never played it before but the rules are easy to follow. We enjoyed playing it several times together and my child loved it. As parents we enjoy having our children learn while playing and this game teaches strategy. Totally recommend!

I was sent the game Gembatan for free to review for the WeeSpring Parent Panel. My wife and I as well as our 3 boys love to play board games so we were excited to get to try it. The game includes gems and tiles and you place the tiles on your turn and then try use strategy to place the gems inside of the tiles based on the matching colors. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. We enjoyed playing it as a family and our boys have played multiple times together since!

We played the game with our two kids (ages 9 and 6) and we all enjoyed it! After we finished the first play the kids immediately asked for more. One of them asked if we could play again soon. Since our family plays games together often, we will likely add this game to our weekly Family Game Night rotation. I am confident the kids will learn a bit of strategy and pattern-building, but most importantly'it was fun. I was given this as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel, but opinions are my own.

We received Gembatan to review from the Wee Spring Parent Panel. The entire family has enjoyed the game. The instructions were simple and took less than 5 minutes to understand, set up, and start playing. My children are all under 10 years old so I was worried that only the oldest would be able to understand the game since it is recommended for 8+. My 11 year old son loves strategy games so he was excited to get Gembatan. The directions are fairly easy to understand and although I played the game with him the first time, I think that he would have been able to play it with another child and quickly learn the game. We had fun but he didn't feel that it was super challenging so I'm not sure if it will be a game that is played often in our home. This game is so fun! We play games as a family weekly and are always looking for new ones to try. I was thrilled when the weeSpring Parent Panel told me we would be receiving the game to try. Our 11 and 8 year olds enjoyed the game and our 4 year old could even play with us without using strategy. They asked to play over and over after the first time and keep asking to play almost daily. Our son asked if we could make it our go to game for game night! Definitely a crowd pleaser.

Gembatan is my new favorite game to play with my kids! I play it by the rules with my 11 year old and it is just challenging enough to make it fun but not so much that it get tiring to play. We have a lot of fun with it and it really helps you to think things though and think ahead. I also modified the playing rules for my 5 year old, making it more of a matching game and he loved it! In all honesty this game was a lot of fun for my son (9) husband & I. We figured out how to play in no time. Its not a boring board game that you played 1000 times you actually have to use strategy in order to win and outsmart the other players. My son needed a bit of help placing his pieces but he got the hang of it. You do have to be careful not to knock the pieces when playing though. Thanks to WeeSpring Parent Panel for making game night more interesting

Gembitan was gifted to me by the weespring parent panel in exchange for my honest review. We played a few times as a family and my kids played a few times on their own. We enjoyed the game thoroughly. The directions need a few reads through and it becomes more difficult the fewer players are playing. We play games often and had a good time playing this one through. My kids (10 and 11) said they would have liked it to have more comprehensive directions, but that was the only complaint

We just recieved Gembatan today and the kids have already played twice. The instructions were fairly easy to understand (kids are 8 and 11). I love that it helps them think about patterns/strategy.
