Q: Instructions on lamp say takes a "type B" bulb. I search on Target and nothing comes up for a type B bulb. Is there some other designation for the bulb this lamp takes?

A: A small base bulb as in a nightlite. But you may want a candelabra bulb with a small base for extra watts.

I love this lamp. With that being said, shipping is awful. The lamp was in a shipping box with no protection. Arrived with the shade coming apart. Had to glue it back together …why would anyone think it was a good idea to throw a lamp with the shade attached into a box and ship it so it can roll and bounce around during shipping?

I was looking for a small lamp with a subtle glow to place in my kitchen counter corner, strictly for ambience. This coordinates SO well with my backsplash. It isn’t very tall so I may need to place it on something to lift it higher. The price is incredible.
