I grow quite a few seedlings but this is the first time using this product. I never buy the "pre-grown" versions of my veggies. Flowers, yes; veggies, no. The only non-positive comment is the measurement of the solution. Half a capful is a relative, not an objective, term. So, half a cap to me is not a half a cap to someone else. But, Miracle-Gro's online chat (Geneva) was awesome and I got the answer in fluid ounces and tablespoons (T): mix 1oz (2T) in 1 gallon of water or 2oz (4T) in 2 gallons of water. If you haven't figured it out yet that's 1oz/gal - why not just put this on the label??? 5 stars if you decide to put this on the actual label. Anyway, hope that helps - happy growing.

My finger lime tree was just a 12 inch stick after I repotted it. After using this, we have little tiny baby leaves growing in less than a week! I usually have bad luck when it comes to repotting, so I will use this everytime.

I bought this to use with some Bonnie Plants tomato and herb plants I purchased this year. This solution seemed to really help the plants thrive when I split and repotted my basil in particular. It’s easy to apply and the plants seemed to look really healthy overnight.

I bought this yesterday because I was transplanting some Madagascar plants that a neighbor pulled out for me two days ago. So they started to look sad and down, When I planted them with Miracle grow potting soil they did good but right after I added the quick start and they all stood right up the next morning. I must say I am completely satisfied. If you invest in plants, please invest in plant food as well. It is well worth it. And cheaper than buying plants every time they die. I have my own landscaping company and I always add miracle grow products to anything we plants for a good boost and happy clients.

I've been using this priduct now for a good 5 years and wow it makes me look an expert gardener. I use it on everything from planting vegetable seedlings, transplanting shrubs to planting apple trees. I've never lost a plant since.

I apply per the directions every time I plant annuals such as pansies, impatient and coleus. It gives my plants a healthy start and quick vigor, helps to establish good roots and top color.

It's like buying insurance - when you use it, yellowed plants green up and than chance of plant failure is almost non-existant. Right now, June 2015, in NE Ohio, we have had monsoon rains that leached the soil and when we came home from vacation after rushing to get our vegetable garden in when we left, many of the plants were yellowed. I had been in such a hurry that I had not used this product. I am not worried at all - I will treat them and all will be well - the season will be a success - that's how good Miracle Grow Quick Start is.

I use this product to transfer or when adding new plants or flowers any season inside or out for the first month and my plants love it. Before I used this product I had no luck and they always died from shock. Not anymore, I love this product and will not do (ANY) planting or transfers without it.

Have been a long time user of this product - so long that I can't recall. I always make sure I have a couple of gallons ready mixed when planting new plants and also when sub-dividing in spring and fall. Our New England summers seem to fly by so averting any plant wilt and encouraging immediate root growth has it's benefits. The plants also seem stronger and able to fend off pests better. When I gift a plant or some sub-divisions from my own garden, I always include Quick Start ready mixed in a gallon milk jug. People can't believe what a difference it makes.
