A: Yes! It would be a great product for your hair type. For hold, I would recommend trying Jelly Soft Curls and for conditioner, our Leave In Condish! For soft bouncy curls, try Feather Soft Curls!

It weighed down the volume, heavy feel & curl shrinkage(I have long hair) except it really does give curl definition. I noticed some comments here don't like to scent but I do like it to be honest and not overwhelming. Lastly, I'm surprised hair loss. I'm not sure it's true. I might try it one more time. Just going to add less product for this product (pillow soft curls lotion) & jelly soft curls gel. I hope this help

A: Scented in the best way, smells like laundry. Clean laundry is my favorite smell, so I may be biased, but this is the best smelling hair product I've ever used

A: Yes - I have pretty wavy hair, and I like how it helps smooth my hair in a way that cuts down on the frizz and flyaways so that the wavy texture shows more clearly. It really cuts down on the amount of styling work I have to do to have it look good when I want to let my natural texture show.

The smell was a no no!
I was so excited to try this, it has great reviews! I tried the small sample size and I’m happy I did because I HATED this product! The smell was horrible, reminded me of an old church lady perfume. The hold was not there and I could feel the product on my hair after it dried kind of like a film. Didn’t do anything for my curls, was actually one of my worst wash days. I couldn’t wait to wash it out!

Amazing!
First of all, this product smells sooooooo good. I have very porous 2c-3a hair. I rake this product through then brush style and use a little bit of Not Your Mother's medium hold gel on top. I've noticed my curls don't last as long when I use this cream alone, which is why I add the gel. It is the absolute best combination!! Not greasy or heavy at all, just super soft and lasts 3-4 days.

I love how it doesn't seem greedy, weigh my hair down but keeps my hair in order. I love the smell. Personally I love more heavily scented products so if your sensitive to smell it is stronger in that category. It does indeed remind me of fresh laundry. I absolutely love Pillow Soft Curls - I mix it with a little bit of Miss Jessie’s Sweetback conditioner or use the Sweetback as a base and my 4c curls drink it up! Super defined curls and the next day I just spritz some water on, add a tiny bit more Pillow Soft and keep it moving. On the 2nd night, I moisturize my hair with Baby Buttercream and I’m set. Love the scent, love the feel and how my hair looks afterwards. Fave!

I only use miss Jessie’s on my little guy. It’s crazy how his hair isn’t crunchy after. It’s just extremely soft, and the smell is strong but I don’t mind it and luckily for my son he doesn’t have sensitive scalp or skin. Yes it’s pricey but it’s definitely worth it

This product doesn’t give enough definition or hold. I know it’s supposed to be soft curls but my hair was a frizzy mess. And the worst part is the smell. It’s so off putting that I had to wash my hair the same day again to get the smell to go away. I don’t even know how to describe the smell other than cheap powder. Even if the product gave me amazing curls, the smell would be a deterrent.

Soft defined curls, no flakes, and no abhorrent smell. Works with my shampoo, conditioner, leave-in and argon oil that I use currently. Simply dampen my hair and reuse the next day and like new. Once it is dry and hair sets, it is good for the day. I like I that I can get several days from my wash and go. The product is expensive but I feel it gets the job done since you do not need to use a lot of product. I also like it cause my hair and scalp does not like gel. Product is a nice medium to lightweight not too heavy or light.

Love the smell
I’m surprised people don’t like the smell …. I love the smell of laundry soap lol I was pleasantly surprised when I put it in my hair . I was looking for the shampoo but I guess there isn’t anything to match the scent
