Q: What’s the trick for the front piece on the drawer? No holes line up from the rest of the drawer to the front piece. It’s wide enough to all the way across so it doesn’t sit in so the bottom fits in the groove.

Q: How do I get the drawer to close all the way

A: Hello Heather - We appreciate your interest in this desk. Once the desk is completely assembled the drawer should close all the way without an issue. If its not able to close all the way then please check if there is any foreign particle at the backside of the drawer. This desk is great! I got it as a Christmas gift to go along with the matching bookshelf. It is very pretty in my space. The only reason that this does not get a five star is because the desk drawer is not the best quality. But I don’t use the desk all that often so I can push that aside. If the drawer is that big of a deal to you I would not recommend buying. Also, in my opinion, it is a little bit overpriced for what you get.

This thing is a disaster to put together. I’m fairly certain they sent the wrong drawer pieces. And the pictures of what pieces to use don’t match the supplies list on several of the steps. And we cannot get the drawer to go in and close, likely because the pieces are wrong.

Assembly went ok. I'm not a fan of the fasteners that were used to secure the top panel. It just seems like a good hard pull upward could separate it from the side panels. Went together decently quick, referenced the instructions for the drawer but the rest is pretty intuative. I really can't complain for $90

not horrible but the box says equipment included and you definitely need a phillips head and flathead screwdriver, hammer, and likely a wrench for the lock nuts to actually be tight. maybe i needed to read more in depth, but i didn’t expect a package that says “equipment included” in big letters to require equipment. other shelves by this brand say that and mean it.

I have purchased and built nightstands, dressers, and bookcases in this collection and I’ve loved them, except this desk. The pieces are not matching. The holes for the screws don’t align. It was VERY difficult to put together and I absolutely do not recommend.

I should have read more of the description. The legs are only about 2’ tall. You’d have to sit on an ottoman to fit under the desk 😂 We didn’t even build it after finding out how short it was so I can’t comment on that part. Unfortunately this will be going back.

The desk looks good..... The material is super cheap and just not what I expectedat all. the drawer and bottom of desk are already chipping. The glue to hold the coating it all peeling on a corner, the drawer has a stutter going in and out and when you writing ot doign anything on the top you can feel the desk sagging down. Also the edges are super sharp.

This desk is easy to put together. But it is cheap, and short. The draw it very flimsy when opening it. I wouldn’t spend more than $50 on this desk. $90 is very over priced.

My first question to the manufacturer would be did you spend any time building this after the first model was done? If you did spend the time to do this then you would see that the entire thing is machined incorrectly. The pieces were missaligned and required me to drill new holes into the wood to have pieces actually line up. Then once that was done the next peice would be off too. This wasn't a small bit off, but rather 2 or more inches. I was able to put it together by myself after about an hour and a half. I needed to use a pilot hole drill bit, wrench (Not included when the kit uses LOCK NUTS), and a tape measurer to measure the new holes location. I am very disappointed that this made it through Target's standards. Once put together it is a very nice desk, however I should not have to drill new holes and measure the new locations for it to work.

Pleasantly surprised given the reviews on this product. I almost didn’t purchase it but I’m glad that I did. Easy instructions and assembly! Quality is great for what I need it for — I have no complaints. The drawer was easy to put together no issues at all! I put this together by myself (no husband needed)! Maybe I got lucky with the box I purchased? Either way, I recommend.
