The best monopoly I've ever played
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remember the fights we used to have when I was a kid playing monopoly at home. This version with the app and all online banking, paying and scanning anything with cards is just brilliant. There is no way of cheating, you cant accuse of cheating and the winner is the winner..this game does not drag on for many hours. Once all properties are sold the game finished with a last turn for each player. Then the winner will be crowned based on the money and properties they own. Its absolutely fun and the kids have played every day of the week so far. Rules are simple. No cash to mess about with and easy to use via the app. All instructions are on the app you play as you go and youre always told what to do next etc. Fabulous family game with guaranteed no arguments. Me (36 year old mum of 3 kids/teens) is having the best time playing monopoly ever!!! 100% recommend for kids from 8 on maybe to all ages above

Great twist to a classic game

However was a good twist, teenagers loved using the app with game which was super easy to download and was quite intuitive to use. Had a great time playing. Would recommend if fancy a twist to the original game!

Brilliant game
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We played as a family of 4 ages 5-33. Setting up the game was pretty simple after reading the instructions. The app was easy to download. Everything scanned very well and the app had no lagging or glitches. This was a fun way to play monopoly. However, I would have preferred the old property names as we as an older generation already know them. This was a fun twist having an app. There is absolutely no cheating that can go on as the banker is the app. (Yes, my husband did try to cheat a couple of times) it doesn't let you scan other bank cards when its not your turn. My only criticism is that if you do make a mistake, you can't press back on the app. As we got confused with the crown at some point and a mistake was made. The game lasted around 35 minutes and there was fun mini games. We will definitely be playing again for family games night.

Came DAMAGED!!
I get that there’d be some minor dents when it comes to shipping but come on! It’s completely damaged! And no proper packaging for protection! This just looks like someone used it, sold it too me all messed up, and shipped it! The gameplay is fun, especially for kids, i would just recommend buying it in person or from somewhere else, NOT Target!

Fun family friendly game
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4.5yo and I played the Monopoly App Banking game together and he really loved the interactive feature of having a card and needing to scan/tap it to buy his properties and complete his turns. I found it very educational for him teaching him to not spend all his money right away and to make smart decisions.

Fun and easy to play
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is so much fun! So much easier than regular Monopoly. The properties are cute and more geared towards kids, the metallic characters, crowns, dice and cards are such high quality. The character pieces are also very cute. Being on an app means no more counting cash, the app does all the calculations for you and you don't even need to work out who and what to pay. It's easy to set up and pack away since there minimal pieces and no money to clean up. You also need less space on the table and floor too! The app is easy to use with instructions first as mud- on both the app, the game board and two reference game cards to refer back to. The phone holder is a nice touch too. Makes scanning the cards easy! It's overall, a really fun game, very easy to play and hours of fun for the whole family. And it is possible to finish this version of Monopoly!

You'll need to download the app on a device to play - an iPad is recommended for best interactive experience. No banker required and say goodbye to paper money getting lost, crumpled or torn - the game tracks every activity with card scans. Landing on 'Free Parking' or any of the railroads leads you to a fun mini-game on your device while houses and hotels are replaced by Upgrade Crowns, which doubles your property's rent. The game flows relatively quickly, clocking around an hour which is a plus over the traditional version which could drag on for hours. Overall, a MUST-TRY for game night. Perfect for gifting too!

Great family fun!

He likes trading and auctioning😊 We also like the interactive aspect of game with the app. We use tablet as bigger screen is more convenient. The only thing, I wish property cards were a bit sturdier. Great product! Recommend!

I found the app easy to use and love the step by step guide, only thing I was you could skip past some of the videos. But loved it cannot wait to play again.

Fantastic for the whole family

App glitch, loooong turns, snoozefest for parents
While this version does allow for shorter games and the mini-games are fun, it has kids doing no math and takes SO LONG to scan all the cards you need to for a typical turn… …scan for Pass Go (if you forget there’s no back button) then scan the “debit” card to receive your $200. After an animation you continue your turn. Then scan a property and scan the debit card again to purchase the property. Finally, after another long animation it’s the next person’s turn. Sure, my 9 year old loves using our old phone for the app, but this game drags on each turn. Last night we played and the app glitched! While it made each turn much faster without the app, it also meant all the math had to be done on paper. While it was doable, it took even more time, especially when calculating a winner.

This is a fun new version of Monopoly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I appreciate the concept of this new game format but I personally prefer the old game set up. I think having the actual money and real estate to purchase is apart of the fun! However, that may just be nostalgic to me since it is what I’m used to in my years of playing monopoly. This game is very easy for young players which is nice! My four year old was even able to play with very little assistance. The new game has fun animations and character pawns which make it more engaging to a younger age group. Also, the elimination of physically counting money or dispersing properties makes it go a lot faster. Overall I think this is a fun new way to enjoy monopoly and we will incorporate it into many more game nights to come.

Techie Version of a Classic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family really enjoys this “techie” version of Monopoly! Our younger kiddos have really enjoyed having the independence to play on their own using the user-friendly app that walks them through the game. The game goes a little quicker than the original Monopoly and has slight tweaks to the rules which we’ve enjoyed. Taking one star off because we’ve had a few instances of the app being glitchy and inserting random players mid-game and, thus, ending their game. Otherwise, we love it!
