I liked the hub but it suddenly died about 16 months in.

So far so good: it eliminated a lot of the mess on my desk.

Very solid construction. It provides great performance for as many drives as I can throw at it ... typically 5 or 6 at a time. Having a power supply is absolutely required by me .. several "old style" HDDs (with the spinning magnetic brown stuff on plates) .. They need power, and this device provides it. Well worth the price.

Recently, I've been getting more hard drives for my laptop, and it just doesn't have enough USB slots for all of them. So, I figured I'd find myself a USB hub that could support all of them at once, and this most certainly delivered! It's already running 3 HDDs, and that's only the start. Worked as intended, would buy again.

This hub completely solved my issues with my new Mac Stdio pro computer and monitor. For some reason, Apple took away the legacy USB ports on the monitor, and only have 2 on the computer. They also seem to expect you will print via WIFI. If you have older HD, CD/DVD players/recorders it is a necessity. Thanks so much for having this hub for sale!

I?m totally satisfied with the hub. It has more ports than I had found on other brands. It is sturdy all metal construction and has nice tight plug-ins. I?d recommend this hub to anyone who asked.

This hub was just what I needed for all my electronics. I have my Apple Watch, Fitbit, 2 Bluetooth speakers, Apple TV remote, 2 iPhones and 2 Bluetooth headphones and my iPad Pro plugged in and still can add a couple more items! It doesn’t get hot, everything charges fast and the size is great! I highly recommend getting this if you need to plug in a lot of things.

Note1: For those not aware, the 1 dedicated charging port does NOT connect for data, but WILL still charge even if computer is powered off. Note2: Remaining 13 hub ports will only charge when connected computer is powered up. I wish there was an option to always have these active. Note3: Someone in Q&A seemed to think there were 3x 2.0 ports. Per MP description, all 13x are 3.0. Note4: As mentioned by others, it could use some mounting hardware or holes, but still totally usable. Note5: I have a couple old iomega minimax drives (usb 2.0, dedicated power adapters) that the hub DOES see, but they refuse to mount through the hub, even though the OS can see them connected. They do mount normally when NOT going through this hub. Conversely, I have a couple seagate 5tb drives (usb 3.0, no dedicated power adapters) and the hub handles those seemingly perfectly, plus 10 mobile devices charging up at the same time.

I ordered this hub to reply an aging, 8-port version and it hasn't disappointed! I can use all ports at same time with no problems whatsoever. It is well-built, solid - the connections do not come apart and easily withstand rapid plugging, unplugging. A good choice!

The hub has worked fine so far, though it'd be great if they included some mounting hardware since it's heavy duty and could be used in such applications like being mounted to the side of a desk

This is a great, solid product in a metal enclosure. No more having to unplug a drive to make room for another. Go ahead and plug them all in. If you need more that 13 ports ... you need to talk to someone. You might have a USB problem. For the rest of us, this is a rock-solid USB solutionl

The device arrived new with a defective power switch which prevented it from being turned on. Tried to claim warranty but supplier made warranty.claim too difficult.

Works with Raspberry pi, no drivers needed. Good construction.

This unit technically functions, but does not function as a high bandwidth hub... my usb 2.0 devices do not even show up as usb 2.0 the power button only works sometimes. You have to press it about ten times to get it to stick in the on position. would not but again, would love to return.

It has been a very good hub with very easy setup. Longevity is what I am after as all the hubs I have had crashed out in three or four years. I have not had this hub long enough to determine its longevity, but I have high hopes.

Power button is not latched, so after a power interruption, when the hub has power restored, it powers up in the OFF condition. Therefore useless for me. On the other hand it is large enough to work as a door stopper.
