Monoprice 2 Pair Affinity Series 24k Gold Speaker Banana Plug

Garbage, cheap, poor quality, trash. Don't waste your money.

These are very decent banana plugs, well designed, nice aesthetics and good function. I was however, a bit disappointed to see that instead of being red, they were more... pink. See photo compared to item # 21913. Obviously this is no big deal, but still a deviation from what is presented when ordering.

Works as advertised. Not much more I can add as it just fulfilled a need.

Best value for the money. I keep buying them as I upgrade to more channels. The bare wire holds secure by 2 set screws. There's a lot to love about these plugs.

Oversized so don?t fit my equipment. Chose alternate method for connecting. Glad I purchased a single pair for trial. Seems like they would be capable of meeting one?s needs.

Very good quality for the price. I like the double screws for a solid connection. It was a bit of a challenge to get them on ten gauge wire. It took a few tries to get the screws in deep enough so that the ring would fit back into place to cover the connection but it?s doable. Any smaller gauge wire will be a cinch.

Very high quality I was very impressed with how sleek and simple these are. They were exactly what I was looking for. Each one comes individually bagged for protection. Warning they are a bit stiff when plugging them in which is perfect. I redid my whole system with them and I couldn?t be happier. WELL WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY!

Plugs fit very snugly into speaker outputs on the A/V receiver, no worries about them accidentally getting unplugged. Requires a very small flat-blade screwdriver to connect to the speaker cables, but clamps down firmly on the cables.

These feel great, are super easy to install onto the speaker wire, and look fantastic! However, I'm docking a star because they don't seem to stay tight. They unscrew themselves. If I add some loctite, problem solved and it's 5 Stars. But they didn't that way. Would I buy them again? Probably, but I'd definitely try other ones first.

Extremely high value! I used to run Monster and these, coupled with Monoprice 12 gauge wire produced audible results. Highly recommend!

They work well, one of the plugs I recurved had a poorly tapped screw which kept falling in. The other 7 were good.

I like the double screw design much better than the one where you fold the strands over the barrel. The fit is much better and it’s easier on your hands. I did have one threads on the red barrel stripped, making it hard to push into the receptacle. But I worked around it. The banana end is nice and wide, so it can be hard to push into even the MP wall plates, but it makes for a very solid connection. I bought them on sale, so it was a great deal and installed them on both ends of my 7.2.4 setup. So 22 pairs in total. If the lengths fit, watch for the sale on the premade cable with these ends, it ends up being not a lot more than buying quality cable and ends and doing the build yourself.

Nice quality plugs capable of taking 10 gauge speaker wire. Good price. I have bought these twice and would again.

Got these on sale. Great deal on great plugs. I like the set screws used to hold the wire in place, they provide a firm secure grip.

Simple design, easy to put together, fits snugly into terminal; outstanding price

Fit 12 AWG wire just perfect. Plugs were a little tough to fit into the speaker terminals but it's good to have a solid connection.

These plugs look to be high quality and once you remove the tiny piece of heat shrink inside they are easy to assemble. The setscrews are slotted so if you ever accidentally remove it all the way it is difficult to get re threaded. If they were hex type setscrews they would be easier to start and easier to tighten because the slot will only take a tiny screwdriver without eating into the body of the plug. Other than that if they stay shiny they were well worth the price. Also they take large diameter speaker wires.

It would probably be fine for what it is for but it was the wrong size for my device.
