This low profile TV mount will keep your TV looking flush against the wall. The tilting feature allows you to adjust the screen to avoid unwanted glare, or to improve visibility and optimize your viewing angle from a couch or seating area. Q: How wide is the open space in between where you screw this on the wall? I have an outlet this needs to go over so it needs to be wide enought to sit over it.

A: Hi Matt, The distance between the mounting holes when the wall plate is at maximum expansion is 27.6" apart horizontally and 15.7" vertically.

Works great. It was easy to install. Light weight, durable construction. TV still hanging after 2 months! That's a plus.It could have a few more holes as I needed a bolt where there was metal, based on my centering on beam/wall, but I made it work!

This is an adequate wall mount, easy to install but the tilt feature which I understood would allow limited access to the back of the set is all but unusable. In fact, I'm going to replace it with a mount with a swivel hinge.
