I have an earlier and slightly smaller version from 2017--purchased from Target--and have streamed Netflix from WiFi from Xfinity without additional equipment with great performance and zero problems. I have been very very happy with my own and just thought I'd make sure I could get a similar model when mine decides to 'leave' me.

Don't buy, this is the worst TV Ever. Stay away from google tv
This is the worst television that you could ever invest in. It constantly crashes when you try opening any of the streaming apps, i’m talking crashing 4-5 times per week. It’s never loads normally, sometimes it will reboot out of nowhere. In the clip I posted, I tried watching a movie on Paramount Plus, after two minutes, it just crashed and stopped working.

I purchased the TCL 50 inch google tv on 6/25/26, and it was scheduled to be delivered the next day. I received it on 6/28/26 (no big deal). It was missing the legs, cord, remote, and instructions guide. I called customer service and was told that I had to reorder another TV for them to pickup the current one. Otherwise, I would need to return it to the store myself for a refund. As of today, 6/30/26, I am not sure of the delivery date. I am so frustrated with Target after this experience and will be reluctant to buy another product in the future.

Honestly probably the worst TV we’ve ever owned. Our other TCL works beautifully, we’ve had it for year and had no problems. Bought this 7 months ago and have had nothing but problems. It randomly disconnects from our wifi when all other wifi enabled devices are connected just fine. We’ve restarted it, updated it, forgotten and reconnected our WiFi and it’s still awful. We can’t watch an episode all the way through without this disconnecting. Don’t waste your money

I am extremely disappointed with my experience. After only six months, my TV stopped working, and I tried to use the warranty. Unfortunately, I discovered that Target provided me with a receipt containing the wrong serial number. When the TV was originally exchanged, the serial number on the receipt was never updated, and now the manufacturer is refusing to honor the warranty because the information does not match. As a customer, I did nothing wrong. I trusted the store to process the exchange correctly, and now I am left with a broken TV and no support from either Target or the manufacturer. I would strongly recommend avoiding this brand. Spend a little more money on a product from a company that stands behind its customers and honors its warranty process. A warranty is only valuable if the company is willing to help when something goes wrong. Very frustrated and disappointed with the lack of customer service and accountability.

has a cool game master feature goes pretty well with FPS and RPGS. Pretty smooth running so far as well.

Have a similar model in the living room and got this one for the bedroom. Good for the price but a little dim for any room with good natural light
