If you like choosing which streaming apps you have on your tv, DO NOT BUY this tv... Google decides which apps you can have on your tv, not you... the picture is fine but the sound is not good at all... you'll have to plan on a sound bar if you do not want it to sound like you are in a tunnel... i will never buy another tv from tcl or any manufacturer if it has google tv...

Horrible sound and speaker!

This tv basically sucks - specifically the sound. First, it sounds like a walkie talkie and static, very cheap sounding. It also often bursts to full volume and using the remote to lower it doesn't work! The only way to stop it is to exit the app I'm using and reopen it! Just now, weird crackling noises (almost like fireworks) were coming from the speaker and the volume lowered by itself but the loud crackling noise was super loud! I have a video but this app won't let me attach it. Again, I had to exit the app I was using (Sling in this case) and reopen it. Also, the remote feels cheap and I don't care for the functionality. I wish I had bought a Roku TV (from anyone but TCL because this is awful)! My 10+ yr old Sony Bravia non-smart tv using a Roku sticks worked and sounded better than this junk. Too late for me to return it which sucks.

I didn’t know a TV could be this bad. I wish I hadn’t ignored the reviews. So glitchy and freezes all the time. When it starts to glitch I typically have to unplug and plug it back in bc if I turn it off via the remote it won’t turn back on. Waste of money and tech materials.

Well, you get what you pay for. Sound is tinny and weak, I think my iPhone has better speakers. Menu is sluggish and glitches frequently. Will upgrade to something else with holiday sales and get rid of this.

This Google TV doesn't have a Spectrum app. Limited benefits when a smart TV if it doesn't allow all and any apps. I hate this TV and wished that I hadn't allowed it to sit in the box for 30 days before setting it up for my elderly mother. TCL needs to do better.

Streaming Buffered

I purchased this to try and solve a streaming buffering problem on my existing VISIO TV. This TCL used the Google operating system and had the same issue. I have a 3 Mb DSL line for my internet connection. I returned this TV and purchased a Hisense TV with Android OS and am able to stream HULU with no buffering and surprisingly a very clear 1080 picture.
