Munchkin Simple Clean Straw Cup

Worked great at first. Then mold formed in the top silicone straw piece. I was unable to clean it out by hand with a straw cleaner or in the dishwasher. Be careful.

Such a simple cup, easy to put together and easy to clean after each meal. It's perfect for my 9 month old to sip her water from!

Bought 2 of these cups and they both leak from the side of the lid like it’s their job.

I did like the simple design of this product. But my almost 2-year-old figured out how to pull the lid off pretty quickly. And then he bit through the straw. The cup lasted us less than a month.

This cup was a waste of money! The straw does not close all the way making it hard for my 1 year old to get anything from it. I have to open it up, squeeze the straw back together and then close it back up just for him to start drinking from it and it opens right back up! Super frustrating! Was wondering why he became fussy, I’ve been giving him a cup for the past week that does not work!

I haven’t experienced any issues with leaking, as the straw prevents it, however my child can still drink from it with ease. When I washed it for the first time, I thought the straw had broken down the middle, but then I discovered it’s SUPPOSED to do that for thorough cleaning purposes! That’s a genius idea, especially when it comes to reusable straws and children. It “snapped” back together with ease and held up well, it doesn’t split while my child uses it. I would highly recommend this to parents whose children prefer to drink from a straw, but still want/need a closed cup.

It’s a great cup but the straw keeps disconnecting won’t stay together. It’s frustrating to keep having to take the lid off to reconnect the straw.

It is not spill proof it has a little hole on top of the straw where it leaks

The straw is flimsy and the ability to open and close the straw is frustrating. I love the concept of how you can clean inside the straw so easily, but it’s honestly a pain to get it back together.

I got a couple of these cups for my twins. We had tried other brands but the valves in those made it too hard for them to drink anything from the straw. These are leak proof, so easy to clean, and easy for my 14 month olds to drink from. I’ll definitely be buying more!

This is a great toddler cup. We were struggling to get our son to hold a cup when he was a baby. We bought multiple sippy cups and straw cups. I didn’t like any of the straw cups except for this one because of the design of the straw and it seemed easy to clean. Finally he held this one and drank on his own. We’ve used them for about 7 months until the slit of the straw opening disintegrated. I didn’t expect them to last very long because my toddler chewed the straw often. They are easy to clean and use. It was indeed spill proof until the straw opening fell apart. Recently the straw split open a few times in the bottle when the cup was thrown or knocked to the floor. When that happened, my toddler would tilt the cup and drink from it like it was open. Overall I think this is great compared to other straw cups in the market. I purchased some replacements today.

The straw part is easy to clean as advertised, but there are ridges and crevices in the straw and lid that are not easy to clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Munchkin 10oz Simple Clean Straw Cup for a while now, and overall, it’s been a pretty solid choice. I really like how easy it is to take apart and clean. It just has three simple pieces: the straw, the lid, and the cup. The soft straw is gentle on my toddler’s mouth, and the 10oz size is just right it’s not too big, not too small. That said, it’s not totally spill proof like I hoped. If it gets tipped over or dropped, it can definitely leak a bit. The lid also has a tendency to pop off if it’s handled too roughly, and sometimes the straw comes loose, which can be annoying. For everyday use at home, it works great, but I wouldn’t rely on it as much when we’re out and about or on the go.
