Place espresso roast coffee like cafe la llave loosely in the filter and screw moka pot together. It says to heat on medium but medium high worked better on my stove. I used the first few drops and mixed it with granulated sugar to create the espumita. Creating the espumita was probably the most challenging part of creating the Cuban coffee. Once you have your espumita in your little coffee cup pour the richly brewed coffee over slowly and you have a perfectly yummy cup of Cuban coffee! This moka pot is fun to use and creates a rich decadent treat for coffee lovers.
