Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro Series 4-in-1 Espresso Coffee Cold Brew Hot Water Machine ES701

This machine is wonderful for a home user who is tired of Starbucks, et al; who is tired of grocery store coffee pods or grounds; and who desires a lot more hands-on with making great coffee products. I lusted after the Cafe Luxe Premier but held off on it, then the Luxe Pro and I could resist no longer. I try to make something new every day--the only regret I have is, well, two of them--that Ninja didn't make this product sooner, and that I need more counter space for all my Ninja countertop appliances! (Sorry, Keurig, your great machine has been retired.) This well-built machine is pricey, but cheaper than many alternatives that do much less. Oh, could y'all please make more recipes for me to use? Maybe a few more with chocolate syrup, or with coffee liqueur? Please?

The double shot espresso and cold pressed espresso is great. None of the other features met expectations.

Really been enjoying this Nuja espresso makers still exploring all the different drinks that can be made. Really love that everything is integrated for makena espressos.

Great Coffee, even for Beginners IT IS easy to draw a decent Espresso!

Bought this a month ago after vigorously shopping brands. We previously owned Nespresso and were leaning towards Breville, then found and ultimately selected the Ninja Cafe' Pro Series ES701 model. LOVE, Love, love it! Takes the guess work out and provides delicious drinks every time. The only one thing to note is that it can not multi-function; i.e., grind and brew or brew and foam simultaneously, but I don't mind the little extra time required to fix our morning beverages. The hot water feature is also a plus! I do wish a direct water line was available. Overall I'm VERY HAPPY!

I’ve had the Ninja Luxe 701 for 3 weeks and I haven’t went to a coffee shop since!!! It’s everything I expected and more!

Had to return 2 units in less than a month for separate issues that Ninja declared were complete malfunctions. Total junk. Ninja wanted to send a 3rd unit. Thanks but no thanks. Do not purchase this machine.

We have had our Cafe Pro for about a month. It has been great. Really good espresso, latte, americano, and we can also just make a cup of coffee. I make americanos every morning for myself. The machine was easy to setup and get started. We had to run about 3-4 espressos at different grinds before the machine learned that grind level 12 is the best.

I love it. I wish instructions be in Spanish. Somethings I still learning that thing is sometimes work when I push the bottom for Americano and sometimes no I don’t know where is my mistake but I’m learning. I just have one week with the machine so far love it.

I love the Ninja Lux. I previously had a different brand that was hard to use or the coffee was watery. This machine not only walks you through the process but the coffee comes out delicious

A few days after I purchased the ES701, I see they are offering 20% off…so I’m feeling a little jipped already. I’ve had the device for a few weeks, and while I’ve enjoying it, I expected it to be better quality for the price. I’m mostly disappointed in the drip tray is flimsy and fills up every few cups brewed. Also, emptying the tray usually results in a mess as well as some scrambling to keep pieces from falling into the sink. That whole drain system could have been designed a little better. May be better to wait for the gen 2 version?

1 month in and this machine is a beast. I haven't tried every setting yet but all of the espresso options are amazing and the milk wand/pitcher work perfectly. The built in tamper feels very solid and every component appears to be high quality and fit together nicely.

Once we got to know the machine, it really came through for us! I'll admit, when I first opened the box and got into all the button options and manual, it was pretty anxiety inducing. However, once I followed the instructions for my first 2 test shots, I felt a lot of relief knowing there are actually not many steps from adding the beans to frothing your milk. My husband and I went from a drip coffee machine and graduated up to a well known pod machine that actuslly produced a great espresso drink for us. However, we grew tired of the same old options and wanted something that offered more variety. With the Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro, you can add any whole coffee beans and grind it to your preference and based on what drink you're wanting. I absolutely love the cold pressed function for my iced mochas, and my husband lives for his double espresso hazelnut lattes. There is a group on FB I highly recommend if you feel the same anxiety we did about getting started. There are tons of tips, tricks, troubeshooting help, and drink recipes to try! Here are a few things I learned quickly by trial and error: - You don't have to tamp down extremely hard- in fact, doing so can sometimes make the water not push through the grounds which causes your water tray to fill more quickly. The barista assist function can help suggest new grind sizes based on how successful a shot is- so I recommend matching the left number to the right until your shots start tasting right. -The lower the number, the finer the grind size. Grind size changes based on the type of drink you select. For example, cold brew had a much coarser grind (higher number) whereas fresher beans in an espresso choice seemed to have a finer grind (lower numbers). -You dont need to tamp (push down) the cold brew -My perfect "pull" for maximum flavor and crema is Red bay Coffee, the "East Fourteenth" one, grind 17, double espresso, I do level 2 for temperature and level 2 for strength. -Pro tip: Hold down the button that says "strength" to switch to the trmperature options, and vice versa. Its a multifunctional button! -Please don't give up after less than 10-15 espresso pulls. I thought my machine was faulty because we went through 3 different beans and we weren't getting a good tasting espresso. My trick? Freshly ground beans make ALL the difference! Find beans that are roasted within 1 month of you trying them. I promise you'll taste, smell, and see the difference. I

My husband and I are loving our Ninja Luxe 4-in-1 coffee machine! At first, we were considering a pod-based machine, but we realized we’d be spending more on pods than on coffee beans. Plus, we didn’t want a super complicated machine since we don’t have time in the mornings before work to be baristas. This Ninja is perfect! Easy to use, surprisingly quiet, fast, and makes delicious coffee every time. From classic brews to specialty drinks, it handles everything without any hassle. We’re officially hooked and can’t imagine our mornings without it! Highly recommend for anyone who wants great coffee without the fuss.

We had a nespresso vertuo that was ok and easy but after a trip to italy we decided we wanted something better. I did ALOT of research (online reviews toms coffee, kevs coffee, etc.), demos in store with multiple products: Breville, DeLonghi, jura, etc. and I decided to take a bit of a risk with this fairly new Ninja product due to the expected flexibility, ease of use, and the overall Ninja brand product performance. We have blender, cookware, and other items from this brand that has held up very well thus far; so I am expecting that this product will as well. However, my biggest concern is a 1 Yr warranty only with no ability to buy a longer warranty. This worries me, however I believe Ninja will stand up for their product and either fix issues or offer customers the ability to purchase a 3 year warranty. Now, for my experience over the last 2 weeks of using the Cafe Luxe Pro every day for 2 people. We mostly drink cappuccinos and lattes; we used filtered water as recommended. I prefer double shot while my wife prefers single shot. Pros: We started with double shots and the machine only required 3-4 attempts to dial into a really caramel color espresso that tastes fantastic. The grind, weight, and recommendations on grind are mostly on, but once we found the grind setting that worked for a double espresso, we left it alone no matter what the machine said. We are using illy classico beans which were a recommendation. Milk Frother was used on automatic vs. manual and has done a great job. We have used both whole and 2% milk and both work well for us. We are not into latte art and even if we were not sure the milk container is good for that. But to me that makes no real difference. The froth on middle setting works great for just the right consistency of froth milk that is at a great temperature. Portofilter/brew area heats up as well which is nice. Cleanup is really easy as the puck falls right out with one tap with very little wipe of grinds, pop the basket out and rinse and you are done. Froth wand needs a damp paper towel for quick wipe and auto purge works great. As other reviews/videos have mentioned lots of water is used and excess goes into drip tray so definitely remember to dump this when you see orange on the dial. Overall, after 2 weeks (which I know is a short time) we are extremely impressed with this machine Cons: Biggest "potential" con for me will be warranty of just 1 year if something happens. We will follow the cleaning and descaling; but with all my ninja products thus far I have not had issues; and I would expect and believe Ninja will do the right thing if there is some major issue. Another con is that going back and forth from double to single espresso shot is difficult and we have not gotten enough water to brew through the single shot low strength option. It is even less total brew volume than the double shot which makes no sense to me and I am hoping ninja can give me advice on this. Also, on the video review I saw ninja had added lights to the ES701 but I do not see any lights. Also, the review I saw showed me water filter tablets and device that came with the machine but ours did not have that. Ninja- was this a mistake? Why did I not receive one?

Coffee is not as good as I hoped it would be. Frother doesn’t get milk hot on the highest setting.

I had been wanting semi professional machine for a while and this is the perfect starting option. Good price for what it offers and I feel it's perfect for my needs!
