A great little combo coffee maker
I loved it!!! I had this machine for several years before I broke down and spent over a grand for a very expensive brand., but it was a great machine for friends that wanted coffee vs the speciality drinks from the other part of it. It also gives hot water for americano , tea or chocolate drinks. I got more compliments on THIS model because it looks expensive! But here’s the bottom line… if you don’t take care of the machine it will fail… I descaled it with vinegar and changed my water filter, i rinsed off my coffee filters, espresso filter and I used the water type they recommended and learned to use different grind’s level for the espresso side vs the coffee maker side. You MUST wipe down your froth wand when finished using it - just like they do at the coffee shops. I bought coffee that was roasted within 30 days…. It is truly an art to making coffee and I truly believe that most of the bad reviews are from people that should no go back to buying at the coffee shops because they do not take the time to take care of the machines. Great for the price! I’m buying this for my son and his wife!

Not quality, creates a mess
The spout on the coffee pot spills everywhere, drip coffee is incredibly slow and sometimes doesnt work at all. Coffee grinds get stuck in the top closure. Wont stay hot longer than 2 hours. Espresso side stopped working after 3 months, the doubleshot spits out of the machine where it is connected. Frother doesn't work well either.

Don't waste your money!
Believe the reviews. It’s garbage. Looks great but never kept coffee warm. Lots of condensation from day 1. 2 weeks after 1 yr warranty expired it just wouldn’t turn in. Thank goodness I bought the extended warranty. Sent it in and was informed almost immediately that it wasn’t fixable, they’d cut me a check. The cost of insurance, it’s deductible, and packing material = cost of a new, better quality (and much less expensive) coffee maker.

Water Leakage
I had this machine since Sept 22- enjoyed it until Dec2022 water leakage. Exchange for a new one in Jan 2023 and having the same issue now in March 2023. Now I want to return it as it’s NOT working properly. Now Target says it’s passed it RETURN . Return has been expired. Great COFFEE when it Works - But water leakage . Ugggh !

It came out of the box not working. The light for the espresso just blinked and the steamer didn't work. The lid on the coffeee won't close properly. It was VERY cheaply made. We were shocked by the cost verses quality. Don't even waste your time and give this a try. Just more crap for the landfill. Target I recommend removing this product from your sales

Espressione Espresso/Coffee Maker Combo I am IN LOVE with this machine!!! I initially purchased it because I wanted the option of having espresso, but didn't want to give up my every day coffee option or have two machines. Incredibly rich, espresso crema. That being said, I have yet to use the coffee pot as I start my day with a latte. I did purchase, separately, 2 mini espresso cups to catch the espresso from the machine. Depending on your cup/mug size, you may be able to use that. I have a wide variety, so not all of them do, and the espresso cups work better. I also purchased separately, a milk frothing cup. Again, you could use a regular mug, but I find using a metal cup, where I can judge the heat of the milk by hand, is more beneficial. The machine does come with a small scoop for espresso and a larger scoop/press combo. No need to purchase a separate press for the espresso, unless you want to. For the money, this is a great machine! Beautifully designed. Highly recommend it!!!! By the way, it was just rated Best Espresso Machine by People Magazine...

Perfection
I just love this unit. it works so well. Have had for 1 year now and use it every day. The drip coffee maker is so easy to use. Fill with water and coffee, flip the switch and in less than 10 minutes have a nice hot pot of black coffee. I grind my own and use flavored (chocolate raspberry) coffee and it tastes so good. The espresso side, we use mostly on the weekends. We just had friends over this wekeend and was showing them how easy it is to make espresso and then froth up milk for cappcuinnos. They loved it and said they were going to look into getting one. Maybe I get a commission : ) Would definitely recommend this unit for anyone who likes to drink coffee or espresso drinks.

Espresso side didn’t really work right to begin with (had to press button several times for enough water to come out). I maybe used it 5 times and now water won’t come out at all. I’ve had the machine for three months. Supposedly has a one year warranty but I’ve been waiting for over a week for the manufacturer to contact me.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Total waste of money… where to even start? The second we got this the espresso didn’t work. It came with zero instructions or troubleshooting. By the time I figured it out it just made a loud noise and worked maybe every other time(after turning off and on again). The milk steamer does nothing but make a mess. -Nothing works at the same time eg. can’t be making a pot of coffee while making an espresso. On to the coffee maker, I don’t expect it to be instant but it’s so slow that it’s lunchtime by the time I’m having a cup.

Not worth it
I purchased 2 units, the first one stopped working after about 6 months. The second stopped work exactly a year to the day I purchased. The company stated the warranty would be honored, but I had to pay to ship the whole machine back. The drip coffee was painfully slow when it worked. The espresso side did make a nice espresso. The rating is due to quality issues.

Espresso maker pump died after 4 months, and Coffee maker side stopped working after less than a year.
I purchased this item on July 11, 2020, and use it around 4 times per week. Espresso pump could no longer pump water through the espresso-filled filter after around 5 months (it makes noise like it's working, but not water ever makes it through and then it shuts off), and coffee maker stopped pumping water to the pump on July 3, 2021-- so, just under a year. My last Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker worked for around 10 years. We purchased the extended warranty plan from "SquareTrade" for this item at the time of our Target on-line purchase, so we'll see how that plays out.

You will become friends with customer service
First, the coffee pot. It needs to do 2 things 1) hold liquid, and 2) allow liquid to be poured from pot to some cup or other container. It fails miserably at the pouring component. It is nearly impossible to pour coffee or water out of the pot without it dripping everywhere. There is a sweet spot magical pour speed and angle where you are almost able to pour without spillage, and it is a constant dance to find and maintain that sweet spot. Next the espresso side. While it appears quite simple, the functionality is quite complex. After multiple failures in getting the espresso to brew we had to call customer service. Apparently we were not their first rodeo as they knew exactly what we had to do to fix the issue. There is some hidden reset technique that is not published anywhere and is not available to access. Maybe it’s on the dark net. Now, just over a year of use, the coffee side just stopped working. Looks like another call to customer service to find the secret fix. I like the concept of the product and the choice to brew pot coffee or espresso. However, it fails in the convenience, functionality, and durability.

Warranty? Not so much
Purchased this as a gift 12/19. 18 months later it quit working. Had to dig up the receipt (thank you Target) in order for them to ‘honor’ the warranty. AND it costs $150 to fix!! Not impressed at all.

Many issues
We were so excited to purchase this machine but we’ve had so many issues with the espresso side. When it works, it’s great but we have to troubleshoot almost every time we try to make espresso, which is really inconvenient. The milk frother doesn’t work very well either. The coffee side works but the pour spot on the pot drips easily. For the price, it’s not worth it. I’m disappointed that I wasted our wedding gift cards on something that didn’t even work correctly for a few months.
